The Center for Disease Control proves yet again that government funding for research leads to any ridiculous conclusion the paymasters in Washington wish to promote.

According to the Washington Post new research tells us black fathers are much better than their white counterparts.

"Though black children are disproportionately born to single mothers, that does not mean fathers aren’t involved. A 2013 study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed that black fathers spend more time engaged in parenting than fathers of other races, participating more often in bathing, diapering, taking their kids to activities and helping them with their homework.

Our study also found that media outlets reinforced the idea that black families are sources of personal, cultural and societal instability — that responsibility for poverty and crime lies with them, rather than with those who shape the economic and social environment they live in. On "The O’Reilly Factor,” Bill O’Reilly commented, "The root cause of poverty . . . as ‘Talking Points’ has reported over and over again, that is the dissolution of the African American traditional family.” There is no evidence to support this claim and much evidence to debunk it. At the same time, the news media promotes white families as the model norm, a source of social stability. This extends beyond the loud claims of O’Reilly to a steady stream of reporting, including the images that mainstream news producers, editors and reporters choose to include when covering families and family life.

This coverage has real-life consequences. Prior research has shown that when the news media constantly associates black people with crime, it increases racial stereotypes among viewers, leading the public to disproportionately favor punitive criminal justice policies. In addition, when the poor are depicted as overwhelmingly black, it leads the public to support heavier restrictions on welfare because of a perception that undeserving black people benefit from it. Backers of corporate and right-wing policies gain when the news media blames black families for social conditions, while their own role in destabilizing society remains invisible."

Well golly gee willackers! Turns out black men are great fathers after all!

I guess that's why 40% of prison inmates are black (while they occupy just 12% of the U.S. population.) It explains why blacks account for 52.5% of all homicides between 1980 and 2008, according to the DOJ. It makes us understand why 35% of youth gang members are black. It's why 52% of juvenile violent crime arrests are black kids. It's why blacks committ 8/55% as many robberies as whites, according to the national crime victim's survey.

Boy, that great parenting is really paying off.

Look at how well black kids are doing; they are wealthier than every other demographic except whites who are the beneficiaries of White Privilege. Oh, wait...

White, Asian, and Hispanic groupshave all made gains since 2000 in terms of wealth, but African Americans have remained stagnant. That's that great parenting again! And according to a Pew Research Poll blacks are twice as likely to be poor as whites. Blacks are more than twice as likely to give birth out of wedlock as whites. Even Hispanics do better than blacks, despite the fact that many can't speak English and have no grounding in the American culture.

Yeah; that is better parenting, isn't it!

This is reminiscent of other such efforts by the media to promote the notion that blacks are somehow better than whites but simply mistreated by the mainstream of society. I read an article a couple of years ago making just this argument, that black parenting, with an emphasis on "respect" and physical discipline aka spanking or beating, was superior to the white way of allowing children to explore and learn independence, and to sometimes backtalk their elders.

Well, the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

The whole point of all of this is to suggest that black culture is no worse than any other, not less capable in promoting the individual's success, but rather that it is purely hatred on the part of whites and a structural defect in society that holds blacks back. See, it's the fault of capitalism, that peculiar white racist institution, that keeps the black community impoverished and violent. Get rid of that and redistribute wealth and all will be hunkey dorey.

So instead of addressing what is obviously aproblem in black culture itself (which means it is a problem that whites cannot fix) it's yet again somewone else's fault. So, despite the trillion plus dollars spent on social welfare programs, race norming, government hirding preferences, affirmative action, etc. we are still going to blame whitey - now it's because of microaggressions, since obviously blacks do a better job of raising their children than do the more successful whites.

Look; any sports team knows that if you keep losing you are doing something wrong. It's easy to try to get the league to change the rules to benefit you, but in the end you have to look in the mirror. A great team will remain on top if the rules are changed to help the poor teams succeedl That is essentially what has happened in America, as we have changed the rules repeatedly to promote the minority classes and yet they remain where they were. Why? Because nobody dares say the emporor has no clothes. The idea that racism is to blame is now so ingrained in the black community and the white, too, that we cannot conceive of anything else.

Yet Booker T. Washington understood the problem and promoted changes from within, a bootstrap approach for the black community. But he was rejected because his way was the hard way, and now the African Americans have reaped what the NaACP and other grievance mongers have sewn.

So stop blaming others for your problems. In the end, only you can improve your lot in life. We all have to face that simple truth.
