I'm talking about Tucker Carlson who points out in his book, "Ship of Fools," that one of the darlings of the left, former California farm workers union leader Caesar Chavez was strongly against open borders because he knew continued cheap undocumented labor (female and male) flooding over the U.S. border would drive down the wages of his United Farm Workers American citizen members. Chavez even sent groups of his union members to the U.S. southern border to actually fight with and thus discourage illegals from attempting to crossing the border into the U.S. and steal jobs. Chavez, as T. Carlson states, actually called them "wetbacks."
