I found Hoggs remarks refreshing and candid. Minus the cursing, they are a valid criticism of the Democratic leadership. Bernie Sanders looks like he belongs in a theater box seat along with the two old Muppets, Statler and Waldorf.
But that doesn't mean Hogg has any better ideas on how to run the country in his Children's Crusade. He's going to read a "s**tload of books" in college. I suspect they won't include "Animal Farm" by George Orwell, "Utopia" by Thomas More, "The True Believer" by Eric Hoffer, "Darkness at Noon" by Arthur Koestler or any Ssolzhenitsyn book.
David Hogg Turns on Democratic Leadership: 'Pelosi Is Old' And Needs to 'Move the F**k Off the Plate'
Here's a quick snippet:
"The reason Republicans are successful right now is because they're empowering young people," Hogue argued. Older Democrats just won't move the f**k off the plate and let us take control. Nancy Pelosi is old."
There has recently been some clamoring within the Democratic Party for Pelosi to step down, particularly from Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA), the fifth-ranking House Democrat, who called for a "generational change" in the leadership, pointing out that the top three House Democrats, Pelosi, Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) , and Clyburn, are all of the same generation, in their late 70s.
End
Hogg plans to run for office after college.
