Swiss researchers have confirmed the Sun is a climate forcing.

After kowtowing to the "Man is causing the Earth to melt" alarmism, the article states:
"Researchers from the Physical Meteorological Observatory Davos (PMOD), the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (EAWAG), ETH Zurich and the University of Bern are now qualifying this assumption. Their elaborate model calculations are supplying a robust estimate of the contribution that the sun is expected to make to temperature change in the next 100 years. For the first time, a significant effect is apparent. They expect the Earth's temperature to fall by half a degree when solar activity reaches its next minimum."
End excerpt.
Get that! That big thermonuclear reactor in the sky actually makes a difference on planetary temperatures.
And I rather doubt they factor in solar related issues (like cosmic rays or magnetic resonance) that may influence planetary temperatures indirectly.
The more we learn the more simplistic and cartoonish the global warming models appear. Today we learn the Sun warms the planet. Tomorrow? Who knows? Maybe we'll determine that rain makes you wet.
