Dem Hopes Down the Drain; Thrown off Ballott

Dana Mathewson

Too few flushes get state Democratic candidate thrown off ballot.

Democratic candidate's run for the Pennsylvania Legislature is down the drain -- partly because he used too little water at the house he claimed as his residence.

This is funny. Most Democratic candidates are four-flushers

What Defines Insanity?

Timothy Birdnow

A quick thought; when a man declares he is Napoleon Bonapart we send the men with the nets and straight jackets to cart him away. He is possibly a damger to himself or others. But when a man says he is a 6 year old girl we extend legal protections to him and let him go to the bathroom with real 6 year old girls, lest we damage his self-esteem.

What's wrong with this picture?

Dana Mathewson calls it right:

"He can't get away with being Napoleon but he can get away with being Josephine..."

Where is the Footage of the Desecration of a Jewish Cemetary in University City?

Timothy Birdnow

A few days ago vandals desecrated a Jewish cemetary in University City, a suburb of St. Louis. The community was outraged, and even the Muslim community got into the act, launching a crowdfunding page and raising a lot of money to help pay for the cleanup. In many ways this foul deed has brought out the best in St. Louis, with a vigil and cleanup effort attended by people from all walks of life. In some ways it was a beautiful thing.

But I have some questions.

First, the police announced they have surveillance video that they have to review. Hmmm. If that is the case, why is it taking them so long to review it? Seems to me they would have their answer fairly quickly if the video caught anything, which it would do if this were just kids being jerks. The slow response makes me very suspicious.

Why am I suspicious? Well, whenever there is a crime involving black on white the police never, ever call it a hate crime, no matter if the perpetrators were hurling racial insults. This has become standard operating proceedure, because the police have surrendered to political correctness and either do not believe black people can be racist or are afraid of some mythical white backlash. I ask; when was the last time a white mob lynched a black guy in America? It used to happen but we have not seen any of that for decades. The fact is, the left wing does not want black on white crime publicized, so horrible acts perpetrated against whites go unreported by the media.

I know this cemetary; it is on the north side of U.City, along the MLK/St. Charles Rock Road corridore. This is a predominantly black area, and it has been so for a long time. Oh, and it lies in what I consider the "Black Lives Matter Corridore" because much of the BLM activity went on in this north west strip of territory, between the City of St. Louis, Ferguson, and the small municipalities adjacent to the city.

So, were these kids who did this, or were they adult men or women? What was their race? Why isn't the media reporting any of this?

Was this an act of Black Lives Matter? Given the anti-Semitism of BLM I suspect that is the case. If not then why doesn't the media report on this right away? I have little doubt the police know what happened but are looking for a correct political response.

Another question; a few years ago vandals desecrated Calvary Cemetary, the huge Catholic cemetary in north St. Louis. This was the second attack in three years. Now, I have relatives buried in Calvary, and so had a personal stake in that. But the press was largely silent on this event at the time, with just a mumbling about it. Bear in mind, 2012 was the Golden Age of Obama, a time when His Majesty ruled over peace and plenty. So, why was the media so unconcerned when it was an act against Catholics, but is now making a big deal out of it since it affects Jewish folk?

It should be a big deal, mind you, but on both counts.

Well, it is my opinion that this is getting attention because there is an attempt to make supporters of Donald Trump appear to be anti-Semitic. Trump is repeatedly compared to Adolf Hitler, even though he is far more supportive of Israel than Obama ever was and has dealt with Jewish folks through his entire career, unlike Mr. Obama who dedicated his life to the black grievance industry.

The media is gleefully reporting that that old bigot Donald Trump is laughing off the rising anti-Semitism, largely because his mind numbed robot followers are the bigots and haters. See, it fits a meme they have been promoting for decades that claims conservatives are hate filled monsters who will build Nazi-style death camps as soon as they have the power, and that Jews had better be afraid, very afraid!

Well, a larger percentage of Jewish people voted Trump than they did for other GOP candidates, and the Left cannot allow the Jewish vote to turn Republican, so efforts must be made to split the Jewish community from those evil Republicans. And of course Trump delende est, so this is a no-brainer.

The impression must be made that the desecraters of this cemetary were Trumpeters.

But is that the case?

Certainly there have been innumerable fake hate crimes perpetrated by the "victims" to blood-libel conservative whites, and there is every reason to suspect this desecration of a Jewish cemetary may be another act of an agent-provocateur. (See a database of fake hate crimes here.) Even if this comes out in the media eventually that black people did it, the report will be on page 16, and the spectacular reporting at first leaves the impression of der Fuehrer rising. That is the whole point. The Fake News Media has perfected this technique.

And the media has to know that Black Lives Matter has embraced anti-Semitism in a number of ways. They support the Palestinians in their efforts to drive Israel into the sea. They have engaged with terrorists. And Black Lives Matter was largely born a couple of miles from the desecrated cemetary.

But the media remains silent on all this, and we have yet to find out who exactly desecrated the cemetary.

Why is it taking so long if there was security camera footage?

You and I both know why.

I have little doubt this footage shows adult black males toppling those headstones, and the police do not want to touch that - and the media doesn't want to report that. Much better to leave the impression that green-toothed hillbillies with "make America great Again" bumper stickers were the culprits.

America has become a hanitation of demons and every unclean bird. The news media is completely corrupt, to the absolute core. Kids go into journalism these days not to report the news but to lead a revolution, and their professors teach them how to be activists, not unbiased chroniclers. The news media has become worse than Pravda during the Soviet days; one has to read between the lines to actually get the news. And they have the gall to call Breitbart "fake news"!! There is nothing reported by our mainstream media that is not politically motivated.

And they want to murder the conservative baby in utero.

So they will lie, even committ such a monstrous slander as this, to advance their cause.

Well, we are still waiting for the truth.

Ignoring African Muslim Slavery

Ellison Ignores Africans Enslaved in Muslim Lands

Charles Jacobs

|Charles Jacobs
Posted: Feb 23, 2017 1:07 PM

Despite the fact that Keith Ellison spent only a short time with the Nation of Islam, he seems to share with NOI’s leader, Louis Farrakhan, a disturbing conundrum: How, as a black man who is a Muslim, and a potential political leader of American liberalism, does he relate to today’s black slaves in bondage in Muslim lands -- in Sudan, Mauritania and Nigeria?
The answer, it seems with Ellison as with Farrakhan, is to ignore or deny the facts and abandon the slaves.
Indeed, Ellison’s model seems to be Louis Farrakhan, who was caught in a vicious fight over Sudanese slaves a little over two decades ago.
Short version: In 1994, an African Muslim from Mauritania –– Mohammed Athie –– and I broke the story of a modern-day slave trade in Mauritania and Sudan, in The New York Times. We reported that "perhaps 300,000” African Muslims were still serving Arab and Berber masters.
"Black Africans in Mauritania were converted to Islam more than 100 years ago,” we wrote, "but while the Koran forbids the enslavement of fellow Muslims, in this country race outranks religious doctrine. These people are chattel: used for labor, sex, and breeding. They may be exchanged for camels, trucks, guns or money. Their children are the property of the master.”

Take Back Gore's Nobel & Give It To The Frackers

Jack Kemp forwards this:

http://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/take-back-al-gores-nobel-and-give-it-to-the-fracking-industry/
Take Back Al Gore's Nobel And Give It To The Fracking Industry

Climate Change: U.S. output of so-called greenhouse gases continues to decline, a new report shows. Even so, global warming activists are likely to be disappointed. The drop has nothing to do with their pet cause, alternative energy.
That's right. The Environmental Protection Agency's yearly greenhouse gas emissions report noted that after rising slightly in 2013 and 2014, greenhouse gas output fell in 2015 — the most recent full year for which data are available.
OK, but maybe it was a one-year fluke? Hardly.
First off, the drop was significant in size — 2.2% on an annual basis, far too big to be a fluke or statistical anomaly.
Second, as the folks at The American Interest helpfully point out, "U.S. energy-related CO2 emissions hit a 25-year low over the first six months of 2016, continuing the progress that the EPA says we made in 2015."
So it's continuing. More important, The Hill reminds, "The EPA attributed the overall decline to lower carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels, which itself came about because of less coal consumption in favor of natural gas, warmer winter weather that decreased heating fuel demand and lower electricity demand overall."
This continues a long-term trend for the U.S. of lower greenhouse gas emissions. Ironically, while the U.S. was pilloried for not ratifying the Tokyo Accord (though then-Vice President Al Gore ostentatiously signed it, despite knowing that the Senate wouldn't ratify it) to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions, it is the only major industrial nation actually slashing its output.
Since the Kyoto Accord was struck in 1997, Energy Department data show, U.S. output of greenhouse gases plunged 7.3%, even though real U.S. GDP over that time has grown a whopping 52%. We're greener today than we have been in decades.
Go figure.
For all this progress, we can thank the fracking business, which has given U.S. industry and homes access to massive amounts of cheap, relatively clean natural gas. It may yet make possible a U.S. industrial renaissance — and bring back jobs now done overseas, not by government trade protectionism but by pursuing free-market energy policies that will lead to ever more energy at lower prices.
Global warming crusader Al Gore won a Nobel Prize merely for his profit-making activities as a green activist. Here's an idea: If the Nobel committee geniuses really want to reward those who've done the most to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, they should give Gore's Nobel to the U.S. fracking industry.

Chris Cuomo of CNN Shows Just How Bigoted the American Left Can Be

By | February 24, 2017, 05:00am | @ewerickson

Chris Cuomo of CNN is objectively a liberal. I have friends who work at CNN who tell me they dread going on his morning program because they think he brings a liberal bias that forces them into awkward positions. His entire world view is liberal. He cannot relate to people outside his liberal worldview and he is indicative of the larger community of leftwing group think that cannot fathom anyone but bigots can disagree with them.
I remember when I first joined CNN, several reporters told me they were glad to be rid of Lou Dobbs because they felt like they could finally be a straight news organization. Now they have Chris Cuomo engaged in leftist group think where Christians and conservatives are the backwoods enemies against enlightened Manhattan values.
Chris Cuomo is, in fact, a bigot.

Trump flushes Obama transgender bathroom "guidance" for schools

Trump administration revokes Obama-era transgender bathroom guidance for schools

Published February 22, 2017

The Trump administration Wednesday revoked federal guidelines issued by former President Barack Obama that allowed public school students to use restrooms and other facilities corresponding to their gender identity.
A document submitted to the Supreme Court by the Solicitor General's office said that the Obama-era directive issued this past May did not "undergo any formal public process" or explain how the directive was "consistent with the express language of Title IX," the federal law outlawing sex discrimination in education and activities.
"This is an issue best solved at the state and local level," Education Secretary Betsy DeVos said. "Schools, communities, and families can find -- and in many cases have found -- solutions that protect all students."
"Congress, state legislatures, and local governments are in a position to adopt appropriate policies or laws addressing this issue," Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement. "The Department of Justice remains committed to the proper interpretation and enforcement of Title IX and to its protections for all students, including LGBTQ students, from discrimination, bullying, and harassment.”
In a letter to the nation's schools, the Justice and Education departments said the earlier guidance "has given rise to significant litigation regarding school restrooms and locker rooms."
The agencies withdrew the guidance to "in order to further and more completely consider the legal issues involved."
Anti-bullying safeguards would not be affected by the change, according to the letter. "All schools must ensure that all students, including LGBT students, are able to learn and thrive in a safe environment," it said.

Demographics is NOT Destiny

A NOTE FROM TIM:

I've been saying this for some time; demographics are not destiny, because people are not genetically predisposed to party affiliation. If that were true the Black community would have remained with the Republicans. Once they were a solid voting block for the GOP, until Roosevelt came along and seduced them with taxpayer dollars and promises of better jobs. Now they are solidly Democrat, and that is a function of poor education, as a majority of African Americans no doubt believe the Republicans were the ones who promoted slavery and Jim Crowe - a lie pushed on them by a horrible liberal public education system.

The fact is this can change, just as any sort of concept may change over time. People are not hard-wired to think a certain way. Oh, there may be some wiring in the brain as a result of education and experience, but politics is not a genetically determined thing. Just because a demographic is growing, and it has been historically politically leaning in a certain direction, does not mean it will remain so. In the end, a great many people may be brought around through education, if only by the leaders of a political party.

The Reagan Revolution faltered because Republicans forgot how it worked. Reagan explained conservatism, and he made it exciting and agreeable. His successors listened to the consulting classes, tailoring their message rather than their approach, and thus losing the actual point. Now half of America doesn't believe in conservatism because they have never actually been taught about it, except by liberal professors who rail against it, but a new generation is coming and if Trump successfully implements a conservative agenda he will win a large swath of those hostile to our beliefs over to our side. That could include blacks, hispanics, and even some of the liberal Jews (just as Reagan won over the "neocons", Jews who had been Democrats prior to his coming along).

In the end we all have a choice. This is unfashionable to liberals, who preach a Gospel of determinism, but the reality is Man is a free moral agent, not an automaton. Politics is an extension of free will.

The Man for the Job

Here is a word on McMaster from a fellow historian, Brian Birdnow

McMaster is a Lt. General in the army, and a historian to boot. He wrote a book called "Dereliction of Duty" in 1997, which was an outgrowth of his dissertation. In the book he said everything that was true about Vietnam, that the liberals have tried to squelch, namely that LBJ and MacNamara were amateurs who had no idea what they were doing, and that we could have won the war easily by 1965, if we had fought properly, and correctly. McMaster was warned that writing this would have a deleterious effect on his career, but he did so, anyway. The shadow liberals have tried to smear him ever since, but his heroism in Iraq and Afghanistan has outshone his critics. He is the man for the job!

Notes from the Nest

Timothy Birdnow

Folks, the technical difficulties continue, although I am soldiering on with this blog. Weeks ago I heard something break off inside my laptop and start rolling around. Whatever it was lodged in one of the fans and the fan made a horrible noise. I found that it stopped shrieking when I rebooted, but the computer kept shutting down; clearly it was overheating.

I tried bricking it up on a couple of Kleenex boxes, which helped but it still kept shutting down. I tried putting a tiny fan underneath it. That worked better, but it still meant the fan would kick on, making a horrible racket and eventually the thing still shut down. So I then placed a piece of blue ice under the right side. So now I have to write with this thing bricked up, with a fan going, and with blue ice underneath. It's, um, difficult to put it mildly.

I had bought a new laptop some time back and could never get it online. I went to work on it with all dispatch, but to no avail. I decided I needed a professional to work on it so I took it to a computer shop. The shop had it two weeks and basically did nothing. After a week they sent me an e-mail (I told them to call) saying I had given them the wrong password. I knew this was bull; I use the same one all the time and even double checked it. So they threw it aside for another week, and then they called me, but the call dropped after a few words. I tried calling them back on both my cell phone and landline and no ansswer. (Naturally they claimed the problem was at my end.) I went in and was told "you hadn't yet given us permission to do it". I had to leave it another day, and when I finally got it back was told "we couldn't test it, so it may or may not work. Call us back if it doesn't."

Naturally it didn't work. I spent &65 for what appears to be nothing at all.

Of course they could test it; I use DIALUP and all they had to do was plug the damned thing into a phone jack.

So now after weeks of aggravation and a fair amount of money I am back at square one. I really don['t want to use this outfit again, because I feel they just didn't care about my problem. They certainly didn't hurry to fix it. So I'm going to have to find another place to work on it, and am going to have to continue nursing along this decrepid machine, fans whirring and blue ice melting all over the table.

Gee it's a fun life!

On a more serious note, I will be out in April due to yet another eye surgery. Regular readers may remember that I have serious eye issues, and have had two major surgeries on both eyes as well as numerous laser surgeries and injections (those are fun, let me tell you). The primary cause of my problem is the conjestive heart failure that led to an increase in fluid in my blood, and subsequently has caused swelling in the macula (the center of the retina) and has caused blood vessel leakage. Right now I have a clot in my right eye that has made all vision impossible except for a gray paste. My good eye is leaking a bit too and there is some swelling. I am going to have to have yet another surgery in the right eye to do something to stop the bleeding there. I dread this; it means five weeks of enforced idleness, where I will have to lay down the entire time. If I'm lucky I won't have to lay face down; that is a possible outcome of the surgery and I have been twice lucky thus far. I am just not that lucky of a guy.

So I will be out this spring, and hopefully will have some guest host. Wish me luck; if I don't get a handle on this thing I am going to wind up legally blind, and that wouldn't be fun at all.

At any rate, I will continue this website as long as I humanly am able. Please do come back! I lost a lot of readers when I had legal troubles not so long ago, and would hate to lose anyone else. It has been a large labor of love, and I do hope you will stick around.

Falconry returns - to fight terrorist drones

Jack Kemp

Many decades ago, I witnessed a half time at a football game in which the Air Force Academy (the team is called the Falcons) had their trained falcon put on a show for the audience. I don't know if they put on that show anymore, but the Air Force Academy does bring a trained falcon to football games and I saw their falcon at the 2012 Air Force Week in New York City, with a woman cadet as the bird's handler. Years ago I learned that this tradition was started by an Academy cadet who knew falconry and went and found a young falcon in the mountains near the Air Force Academy in Colorado - and trained it as their teams' mascot. From that point on, a cadet is assigned to carry on the tradition of handling and caring for a falcon.

But in Europe, where falconry began, a new use has been found for trained raptors. And this time it is actual eagles. Perhaps this practice may spread here, if PETA doesn't stop it - but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting.

Previously I've noted that Holland has trained eagles to take down unauthorized drones in some areas. At the web page from the Guardian, you can scroll down and see a still image and video of a handler with a Eurpean cousin of our National Bird, a Dutch resident bald eagle. See https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/feb/01/dutch-netherlands-police-birds-unauthorized-drones

Now France has joined in this practice, using trained eagles to thwart terrorist attacks.
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/meleanamoore/2017/02/22/france-employing-eagles-n2289090?utm_source=thdailypm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl_pm&newsletterad=
France Turns to Eagles for Counterterrorism Measures

Meleana Moore

Eagles thrive digging their talons into their prey to complete the kill, so why not employ them to kill inanimate objects, such as those ever-looming drones? It turns out, that is just what the French are doing, heading back to the old days of falconry. However, this specific air force base that is training the eagles is one of five bases in France that employs the birds of prey--granted, the other bases utilize the birds to scare away other fowl when aircrafts land and take off.
Thus, in response to tragic terrorist attacks and the growing popularity of drones in the terrorism arena, the French military has started a program of training golden eagles from birth to take down suspicious drones, instead of to intimidate living things, according to the Washington Post. The Post explained that the French turned to eagles when presented with the question of destroying drones in highly populated areas--as shooting them down becomes risky in such areas.

February happens to be the month that the four eagles (d'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos and Aramis) piloting the program were ready to be let out to officially test what they had been practicing since birth.

The Post reported on the progress of one of the drone-destroying-eagles, d'Artagnan, explaining how, "the bird covered 200 meters in 20 seconds, slamming into a drone, then diving with the wreckage into the tall grass."
The military is even designing personalized mittens to protect the birds' extremities from potential blasts

Vandals target historic Jewish cemetery in University City

Posted 3:58 pm, February 20, 2017, by Andy Banker and Ayesha Khan, Updated at 03:52PM, February 20, 2017
UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KTVI) – Investigators with the University City Police Department are working to determine who knocked over or damaged dozens of headstones at a local Jewish cemetery Thursday morning.

Police would not say if they considered the vandalism at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery to be a hate crime.
It is believed there was some organization behind the crime, meaning this was not the act of one individual.
The tombstones vandalized are in an older section of the cemetery; much of which pre-date 1960.
A steady stream of people were stopping by to see if the toppled headstones belonged to any of their family members who are buried at the site.

"These are holocaust survivors that are in here they shouldn't have to endure anymore trauma let them be settled," said Robin Rickerman whose elders including great aunts and uncles are buried at the gravesite.
"I can't believe people would do that anywhere to anyone, it's just wrong," said Golda Burke whose grandparents on her dad side are buried on the other side of the vandalized site.

"It's not ok," she said, "it's never ok to desecrate the dead."

Police said they're reviewing security camera footage from the area.
More than 100 headstones were damaged.

The investigation coincides with yet another round of bomb threats at Jewish community centers across the nation.
According to cemetery executive director, Anita Feigenbaum a clean-up effort is being planned. Feigenbaum, said the Muslim community has offered to help with the effort as well.

All Nations Church has is collecting donations to be given to the cemetery.

A teen girl’s powerful response to Teen Vogue’s abortion gifts article

Jack Kemp

There is a short video at the website below which has this wise young woman speaking which I urge you to watch. She is a lot wiser than the "wise Latina" on the Supreme Court. This sixteen year old is more impressive than many of the more chronologically adult women in America.

http://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/02/21/watch-a-teen-girls-powerful-response-to-teen-vogues-abortion-gifts-article/

The magazine Teen Vogue stirred up a heap of controversy last week when it released an article titled "What to Get a Friend Post-Abortion.” In it, the magazine details what gifts you can get a friend who just underwent an abortion, such as a book of poems or a hat that says "grl pwr” on it.
But the Students for Life of America have decided to respond to Teen Vogue’s controversial article by putting a young 16 year old girl named Autumn in front of a camera, and letting her explain how Teen Vogue’s article was horrific.
"Since I am a teen, this was directed towards me, and I would like to respond,” says Autumn at the beginning of the video.
"The point of the article was to make the situation seem as light hearted and nonchalant as possible in order to convince girls my age that abortion is not big deal. We need to clarify one thing — abortion is a big deal,” she continued.
Autumn goes on to describe some of the gifts suggested by Teen Vogue, and wonders how some of them would actually be able to allow these girls who have been through something so traumatic, or how killing their baby is a good example of "girl power.”
"By the way, how many aborted babies have been girls?” asks Autumn. "What about their rights? When do girls begin to have power? And how powerful do you have to be to destroy the most helpless of people? To me, abortion seems like the opposite of girl power.”
"If you know someone who has had an abortion, don’t buy them a gag gift and disguise it as a celebration,” says Autumn. "Treat it for what it is. A terrible loss.”

NASA may classify the moon, Pluto, and about 100 other worlds in the solar system as planets
Business Insider

NASA scientists have published a manifesto that proposes a new definition of a planet, and if it holds, it will instantly add more than 100 new planets to our Solar System, including Pluto and our very own moon. The key change the team is hoping to get approved is that cosmic bodies in our Solar System no longer need to be orbiting the Sun to be considered planets - they say we should be looking at their intrinsic physical properties, not their interactions with stars. "In keeping with both

Saudi/Israeli Alliance

Interesting!

There’s an alliance growing between Saudi Arabia and Israel — and Iran should be worried
Business Insider

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attends a weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem Thomson Reuters MUNICH (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia and Israel both called on Sunday for a new push against Iran, signaling a growing alignment in their interests, while U.S. lawmakers promised to seek new sanctions on the Shi'ite Muslim power. A history of Russian influence in U.S. politics

(This article begins with the second Reagan run, against Mondale)

It appears that the investigation will be limited to counterintelligence concerns related to Russia and the 2016 U.S. election, which lets the Democrats off the hook for what they did to assist the Soviets/Russians in their campaign against Republican President Reagan.

Any objective inquiry should also look at how Angela Davis, a longtime pro-Russian communist, became a leading opponent of President Trump and co-chair of the Women’s March on Washington, an event that featured several Democratic Party politicians in addition to vulgar Hollywood celebrities.

"If you’re going to protest a new president famously accused of being a tool of Russian strongman Vladimir Putin, common sense would suggest avoiding high-profile speakers who were proud tools of Putin’s former employer, the Soviet Union,” comments libertarian conservative writer Cathy Young, referring to Davis. She added that "…the rhetoric of the anti-Trump ‘resistance’ often portrays him [Trump] as being in cahoots with Vladimir Putin, or even as a Kremlin puppet. Yet the same resistance is honoring a woman who ran for political office in the United States on the ticket of a party that was quite literally a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kremlin.”

The Senate Subcommittee on Internal Security (now defunct) report, "Communist Party, USA—Soviet Pawn,” is a good source of information on how the CPUSA served as nothing more than a branch of the Russian Communist Party and was funded and sponsored by Moscow.
The bizarre spectacle of Angela Davis now surfacing as a leader of the anti-Trump resistance, dedicated to exposing Trump’s relationship with Moscow, is an indication that the Russian angle, regarding the current administration, is fraudulent. But with Republicans like Senator Burr going along with the call for hearings, the Democrats and the media can count on getting more mileage out of a controversy that was manufactured in part by President Obama’s CIA.

In a bizarre twist, it turns out that Obama’s CIA director, John Brennan, admitted voting for Gus Hall in 1976 when Hall was the CPUSA presidential candidate in that election year as well. [Emphasis mine.]

Since 1984, when the party fielded the Hall/Davis ticket but backed the Democrats, the CPUSA has not offered candidates for president and vice president. Instead, the party of "Red Russia” and a "Soviet America” openly backed Obama in 2008 and 2012, and Hillary in 2016.
