Light Alone Evaporates Water

Timothy Birdnow

Vedddy Eeenterestink! As you no doubt are aware, the Earth's albedo has been dropping for some decades now and that means less cloud cover, meaning more sunlight getting to the Earth's oceans. (Of course the Gang Green blames this dropping albedo on "climate change" which is completely illogical as a waremer world would see a RISE in albedo from more water vapor in the atmosphere.)

Carlos Felix Velazquez

Very Interesting. MIT researchers have just discovered that photons alone can evaporate water. I'm no expert but I'd think this probably changes some of our most important climate models and formulas for calculating water vapor in the atmosphere.

I then consulted ChatGPT which didn't know what I was talking about and said I was confused. Then I asked the more up to date, COPILOT (Microsoft's AI chatbot) and it did know of this new MIT discovery. Here are the results of the COPILOT query.

Me : What is the photo molecular effect?

Copilot:
The photomolecular effect is a fascinating discovery that demonstrates how light can cause water to evaporate without the need for heat. This process involves photons of light dislodging clusters of water molecules from the surface, allowing them to float into the air and cause evaporation1. It’s a significant departure from the traditional understanding of evaporation, which typically requires heat to break the bonds between water molecules.

Researchers at MIT have conducted experiments showing that this effect can occur naturally across various water surfaces and could have profound implications for climate modeling, solar energy, and water purification technologies1. The photomolecular effect suggests that light-induced evaporation could be a widespread natural process, affecting everything from clouds to plant transpiration2.

This discovery is not only important for our understanding of the natural world but also opens up potential new avenues for technological innovation, particularly in areas where solar power and clean water production are crucial1. It’s a prime example of how ongoing research can yield surprising insights into phenomena we encounter in everyday life.

Aether Or

Carlos Velazquez

The consensus among cosmologists is that about 85% of the mass in the universe is "dark matter." This professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Huntsville in Alabama is proposing that there is no dark matter and the universe has "topological defects" that could explain why there is more gravity than can be accounted for by observable mass.

One thing for sure this study will accomplish is continuing the government funding of such "studies" as these. I'm very skeptical of these theories which cannot be explained by the known physical laws or cannot be tested and require things they admit are impossible to detect. Let all these extravagant studies proceed but not with my tax dollars.

"A distinguished professor of physics and astronomy at UAH, Lieu says that his interpretation of the problem "gives a finite gravitation force in the absence of any detectable mass,” an approach that he says arose from his frustration with prevailing ideas about dark matter that still lack any direct evidence after more than a century since the idea was initially proposed. According to Lieu, concentric structures comprised of shell-like topological defects could account for the excess gravity current models require to bind galaxies or clusters. These structures likely have their genesis in a cosmological phase transition—an event where the state of matter changes across the entire universe—which occurred very early in the universe. Lieu says such a phase transition could potentially generate gravitational effects without mass."

Gravity Without Mass? New Study Challenges the Existence of Hypothetical Dark Matter - The Debrief
thedebrief.org

Tim adds:

I've always thought of dark matter as much like the Aether (a massless, invisible substance that conducts light); everyone believed in it without any evidence. Einstein just threw it away after the Michaelson-Morley experiment since there was no value in it. Once he dumped it he was able to work out Relativity.

Years ago I read that all that matter would likely phosphoresce from absorbed energy if it existed. Not sure if there is any truth to it but it seems to me we should see SOMETHING, especially now when we have space-based telescopes.

(The Michaelson-Morley experiment involved splitting a single beam of light, sending them in opposite directions, bouncing them back to their starting point, then measuring the difference. If there was an  aether the beam moving against the direction of the aether would arrive slightly after the beam moving with it. But it didn't happen; the beams arrived at the same time.)

More Confirmation on Biden Laptop Lie

Diane Kimura

BREAKING: Another FBI witness just confirmed that Hunter Biden's laptop was always real and that they knew this for a long time.

This was orchestrated and ordered by Sec. of State Blinken, yet not one has been investigated or indicted for this coup because the DoJ is so deeply corrupt.

Never forget the spies who lied about this.

The Weatherman Underground

James Doogue

The U.N. is using dodgy statistics to fuel the climate disaster rhetoric, which by happy coincidence will likely be used to justify an increase in its own budget and powers, as well as being a justification to crush individual liberties through centralised carbon budgets.

It is sad that our universities are focussing on leftist activism more than proper scientific and statistical analysis. After all, they can welcome far more academically challenged students to gain degrees in the former rather than the latter.

Besides, expecting students to achieve high standards of academic ability is probably a legacy of patriarchal systemic racism.

The totalitarian-style government being created by the climate alarmists is far more dangerous than a change in the weather.

If We Help Save Tiny Israel, Perhaps We'll Learn To Love And Save Ourselves?

James Doogue

Arabs want to wipe out the Jews from the River to the Sea. They've already eliminated them from almost everywhere else in The Middle East, now they want to rid Jews from Israel, their ancestral homeland.

How can the Western media and university students and others be so gullible?

Israel is the only country in The Middle East which:

- Is a true democracy.

- Gives all citizens equal rights regardless of gender, sexuality or religion.

- Is a designated Jewish state but allows freedom of religion for all citizens.

- Has compulsory military service. Males do 3 years on completion of high school. Females do 2 years. Arab Israelis are not compelled to do this service, but are welcome to do so if desired and many Aran Israelis hold high ranks in the IDF. The same applies to Druze Israelis and ultra-orthodox religious Jews.
- Has positive discrimination in university education and public service roles setting quotas to assist and encourage Arab Israelis to succeed in Israeli society.

- Provides free education and health care for all citizens and even provides government funding for private Arab only schools which meet minimum curriculum standards.

- Has sovereignty over the Temple Mount in Old Jerusalem. This is the holiest site in the world for Jews, the site of King Solomon's Temple and the second Jewish temple built under King Herod. It is also the site of the Muslim Al-Aqsa Mosque compound including the Dome of the Rock built hundreds of years after the Jewish temples. This site is considered Muslims third most holy site after The Kaaba in Mecca and the al-Masjid an-Nabawi (The Prophet's Mosque). As part of Israel's 1994 peace deal with Jordan the Temple mount is administered by the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf, a department of the Jordanian Government. While Israel is responsible for security and enforcing the rules, the rules overwhelmingly favour Muslims.

For instance there are nine entrances to the site, where Muslims can come and go at eight of the entrances, the remaining single entrance is for non-Muslims.

Non-Muslims can only visit the Temple Mount for four hours per day five days per week. They are not permitted entry during Muslim holy days and holidays either.

Non-Muslims are not allowed to bring bibles or Torah's or any other religious books or material. It is forbidden to wear any religious clothing or insignia such as the crucifix or the Star of David. Non-Muslims are not allowed to pray either out loud or silently or sing while on the Mount. None of these restrictions apply to Muslims. Israel also restricts the number of 'religious' Jews that can visit at a time. These are Jews that can be identified by their Fred's or hair styles. These groups are escorted through the complex but armed Israeli police because of the number of times they have been attacked and targeted by Muslim visitors.

Prior to 7 October 2023 Israel had:

- Tens of thousands of Arabs entering Israel daily from Gaza and the West Bank for employment opportunities for which they were paid the same as Israelis under Israel's labour laws. This usually meant they were earning four to five times what an employee in Gaza or The West Bank would typically earn for the same job.

Sadly, some of these workers were involved in the 7 October attacks providing detailed information about the civilian targets. For security reasons, most of these jobs have been lost which has created0 significant financial hardship in Gaza and The West Bank.

- Provided urgent and specialist health care for Arabs from Gaza and Arab parts of the West Bank upon request.

- Provided electricity, water, sewerage and communications services at cost to parts of Gaza and Arab parts of The West Bank by mutual agreement.

Despite having been attacked by their Arab neighbours on multiple occasions, Israel has never ceased to try to find a peaceful means of coexistence with their Arab neighbours.

Israelis have achieved decades of peaceful coexistence with Egypt and Jordan which have benefited from mutual treaties regarding defence and sharing of technological and agricultural know how.

On September 15, 2020, the United States, United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain signed the historic Abraham Accords negotiated by the Trump administration.

With this accomplishment, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain charted a new course in the history of Arab-Israeli relations by recognizing the State of Israel and normalizing diplomatic relations. Later that year, two other Arab nations, Sudan and Morocco, followed suit and joined the Abraham Accords, raising the number of Arab States with formal diplomatic ties to Israel from two to six.

One of the most important outcomes of the Abraham Accords is the change in people-to-people relationships between the signatory countries. They have seen a blossoming of bilateral initiatives within the private sector and civil society.

The geopolitical and economic benefits have spillover effects across the region, and the world.

The Accords established a foundation for peace and collaboration that can be tapped into by any country interested in cooperation.

The Abraham Accords advance the two-state solution by opening channels of communications between the Arab states of the Gulf and Israel. This change gave Palestinians, especially youth, a new opportunity to make demands from their leadership to benefit from the Accords.

Sadly there are many Arab Muslims who do not want to have friendly relationships with Israel regardless of the detrimental cost to their own people. Iran was most concerned by the Abraham Accords because they watched on as the Sunni Muslim countries increased their geopolitical strength through these peace and cooperation accords with Israel.

Iran sees themselves and Shia Muslims as the rightful superpower in The Middle East. When the Biden Administration lifted the sanctions imposed by the Trump Administration against Iran for breaching the nuclear deal signed under Obama, that gave Iran hundreds of billions of dollars which became available to help fund their war on Israel and the West.

Threatened by the success of the peace accords between Israel and Sunni Arab countries, Iran stepped up their support for Hizballah, Palestinian terrorist groups in Gaza, and various terrorist and militant groups in Iraq, Syria, Bahrain, and elsewhere throughout the Middle East.

Iran used the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force (IRGC-QF) to provide support to terrorist organizations, provide cover for associated covert operations, and create instability in the region. Iran has acknowledged the involvement of the IRGC-QF in the Iraq and Syria conflicts, and the IRGC-QF is Iran’s primary mechanism for cultivating and supporting terrorist activity abroad.

Since the end of the 2006 Israeli-Hizballah conflict, Iran has supplied Hizballah in Lebanon with thousands of rockets, missiles, and small arms in violation of UNSCR 1701. Israeli security officials and politicians expressed concerns that Iran was supplying Hizballah with advanced weapons systems and technologies, as well as assisting the group in creating infrastructure that would permit it to indigenously produce rockets and missiles to threaten Israel from Lebanon and Syria.

We saw this happen after the 7 October HAMAS attack and Israel have evacuated a great part of their northern population in anticipation of further attacks.

Iran has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in support of Hizballah and trained thousands of its fighters at camps in Iran. Hizballah fighters have been used extensively in Syria to support the Assad regime.

In 2021, Iran continued providing weapons systems and other support to Hamas and other U.S.-designated Palestinian terrorist groups, including Palestine Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command.

These groups were behind numerous deadly attacks originating in Gaza and the West Bank on and since 7 October 2023.

Because of the rocket attacks in Israel from Hizballah in Lebanon and Syria in the north, and from HAMAS and other Iran terrorist groups in the south, and the threat of significant further attacks, hundreds of thousands of Israelis including Arab Israelis have been displaced from their homes. Many are living in tent camps and have seen their jobs and businesses shut down.

I'm continually stunned by the ignorance of the anti-Israeli lobby in the West.

It's not as if The Middle East would break out in peace if Israel was totally destroyed. We'd just see the different Muslim groups continue to fight each other and seek to destroy or take over the West at the same time.

At the current rate, the West is doing a pretty good job imploding in on itself with our Universities and the political Left teaching our citizens that there is nothing good about The West to fight for.

If only our citizens were as brave and committed as those in Israel. Perhaps if we can help save Israel, there's a chance for our own democracies to survive?

Einstein's Blunder

Timothy Birdnow

Of course Einstein's answer was socialism, a far more oligarchic and evil and poverty-inducing system. He had no constructive alternative.

What is needed is Chesterton's Distributism, which is SMALL businesses, not huge corporations.

The marriage of corporations and the State is a form of socialism too - Fascism. Einstein assumes an either/or situation. But it's not. Like government, it can be limited or non-limited and representative of the People or not.

Chesterton put it succinctly "the difference between a socialist and a capitalist is the size of their paychecks."

The rise of the multi-national corporation has been terrible for the whole world, but the People accepted it under arguments for "free trade" and the mom-and-pop businesses all died to the giants. Now the giants are all kowtowing to the altar of statism because that kills the competition. But the corporation is an artificial entity and can be altererd, and especially these giant multi-nationals. But it is utter folly to toss out the baby with the bathwater as did Einstein here.

"In the inaugural May 1949 edition of socialist magazine Monthly Review, Einstein argued that private capital "tends to become concentrated in few hands”, resulting in "an oligarchy of private capital the enormous power of which cannot be effectively checked even by a democratically organized political society”.

"Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education).

"It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights.”

Thinking Globally, Acting Locally How Sustainable Rule Took Over Your City

Tom DeWeese

Solar and wind farms to eliminate gas and oil; 15 Minute Cities; eliminating single-family homes; eliminating gas-powered cars; stop eating beef; no more warm water showers; ban ice cubes and electric stoves; Sustainable! How did these radical ideas become official policies in our once great American cities, now on the verge of collapse? Here’s the story.

San Francisco is the birthplace of the United Nations. On June 5th, 2005, it was also the location for a major effort by the UN to circumvent national and state governments in order to reorganize human society. This time the UN was targeting mayors to enlist them to be soldiers in the Sustainable war.

Like a scene from Michael Crichton’s landmark novel State of Fear, all the usual suspects, our self-appointed saviors, were there. There were UN bureaucrats seeking to increase their power and influence, NGOs with their private agendas, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, the host committee, including San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown and Senator Diane Feinstein. Walking among the crowd were actors Robert Redford and Martin Sheen. As everyone fawned over them, singer Judy Collins could be heard inspiring the gathering with her emotional lyrics. Of course, representatives from ICLEI and the Natural Resources Defense Council were joined by corporate sponsors including Federal Express, Toyota Prius, and Mitsubishi International Corporation Foundation, all dedicated to capitalizing on Sustainable Development practices.

As the cheerleading and drum circles faded, the gathering got down to the serious business. The mayors were pressed to commit their communities to specific legislative and policy goals by signing a slate of United Nations accords. Two documents were presented for the mayors’ signatures.

The first document was called the "Green Cities Declaration,” a statement of principles which set the agenda for the mayors’ assigned tasks. It said, in part, "Believing as Mayors of cities around the globe, we have a unique opportunity to provide leadership to develop truly sustainable urban centers based on culturally and economically appropriate local actions.” The Declaration detailed exactly how the UN intended to implement a very specific agenda in every town and city in the nation. The final line of the Green Cities Declaration was the point of the whole affair: "Signatory cities shall work to implement the following Urban Environment Accords. Each year cities shall pick three actions to adopt as policies or laws.”

The second document, called the "Urban Environment Accords,” included exactly 21 specific actions (as in Agenda 21) for the mayors to take, controlled by a timetable for implementation.

Here’s a quick look at a few of those agenda actions called for. Under the topic of energy, action, item number one called for mayors to implement a policy to increase the use of "renewable” energy by 10% within seven years. Renewable energy includes solar and wind power. Not stated in the UN documents is the fact that to meet the goal, a community would have to reserve thousands of acres of land to set up expensive solar panels and even more land for wind turbines – way beyond the two to five acres needed for a gas-fired generating plant. The cost of such "alternative” energy to the community would be vastly prohibitive. Yet, such unworkable ideas became the environmentally -correct order of the day that the mayors were being urged to follow.

One of the actions offered in the Urban Environmental Accords dealt with the topic of water. Action item number twenty called for adoption and implementation of a policy to reduce individual water consumption by 10% by 2020. Interestingly, the document began by stating: "Cities with potable water consumption greater than 100 liters per capita per day will adopt and implement policies to reduce consumption by 10 percent by 2015.”

However, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, Americans actually need about 100 GALLONS per day to perform their basic functions. Consider also that there is no specific water shortage in the United States. Such restrictions, as outlined in the Urban Environment Accords, are really nothing more than a dishonest campaign by the UN to control water consumption. Control the water, control the people.

Perhaps the most outrageous promise was action number sixteen in which the mayors were to agree: "Every year identify three products, chemicals, or compounds that are used within your city that represents the greatest risk to human health and adopt a law to eliminate their sale and use in the city.” There you have it. Every year, our nation’s mayors were to promise to ban something!

What was to be each mayor’s reward for destroying private property rights, increasing energy costs on less consumption, and banning something useful every year? He would get Green Stars! According to UN documents, if your mayor could successfully complete 8 to 11 of the prescribed 21 actions, the town would get a green star and the designation, "Local Sustainable City.” Twelve to 17 actions completed would garner two green stars and the designation, "National Sustainable City.” Fifteen to 18 actions completed would bring in three green stars and the title, "Regional Sustainable City.” Finally, the energizer bunny mayor who completed 19 to 21 actions completed would get a full four green stars and the ultimate designation of, "Global Sustainable City.” Certainly, he or she would also get a plaque and get to sit at the head table at the next UN Sustainable Development conference.

Sustainable Development is truly stunning in its all-encompassin g reach to transform the world into feudal-like governance by making nature the central organizing principle for our economy and society. It is a scheme fueled by unsound science and discredited economics that can only lead modern society down the road to a new Dark Ages of human misery. It’s a policy of banning goods and regulating human action. There is no place in the Sustainable world for individual thought, private property, or free enterprise. It’s the exact opposite of the free society envisioned by this nation’s founders.

Again, the UN’s meeting with the mayors took place in 2005. Do the dictates of the Green Cities Declaration still guide the process? Well, as usual, over time the names change, but the policies become more targeted and radical.

Fourteen major American cities are part of a globalist climate NGO known as the "C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group.” The goal of the group is "0” meat and dairy consumption by 2030. Also included in the goals are "0” private vehicles owned by citizens, only "one” short-haul air flight per person every 3 years, and "3” new clothing items per person per year.

The group is funded mainly by Democrat billionaire Mike Bloomberg, and nearly 100 cities across the world are members. In the U.S. members include Austin, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Seattle. Most recently Ohio cities, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Dayton have joined.

Most notable, in the current era, is the "Circular Economy,” leading to "Circular Cities.” The main force promoting the Circular Economy is the World Economic Forum (WEF) and its Great Reset. The WEF actually provides instruction for local elected officials to help them impose the very same plans as outlined in the Green Cities Declaration.

One of the main policy goals of the Circular Economy is the elimination of cash money, to be replaced with digital currency. Once digital currency is in place imagine the control each mayor will then hold over every citizen. Every action will be monitored. Break the sustainable rules and every dime you have in bank accounts will be confiscated from such an unworthy citizen. As the WEF’s head, Klaus Schwab said, "Own nothing and be happy!” Right out of the Green Cities Declaration. Freedom dies at the whim of a mayor competing for his next plaque.

The Craven Hannity

Timothy Birdnow

I caught Sean Hannity's radio show yesterday. I've never thought Hannity was top tier and he proved by arguing about how we need to be the bigger men and "rule of law" and other inanities when discussing whether we should use the Democrats own lawfare tactics.

What a dope! Sadly he's probably where the majority of Republicans remain, despite the endless and repeated abuses of power by the Democrats.

We cannot win if we don't fight, and we can't fight if the other side cheats and we don't. It's like trying to win an ice hockey game when we don't have skates or pads or sticks and they do.

Moralizing feels good and it is indeed sad it has come to this but the aggressor sets the rules of engagement and we can fight back in kind or die. We are going to die because Hannity and others don't care to sully themselves with the filth of this sort of political action. They will then thump their chests and say how "we tried our best" and take solace in their Ashley Wilkes nobility from the gulag.

Look,we already are fighting with both hands tied behind our backs. They have control of all the means of the dissemination of information. They have control of the money. They have control of the govrnment. We struggle to get our message out and were it not for a few brave souls they would be unopposed. We are in a mop-up situation after the Revolution (which occurred under Obama) and STILL our side can't understand the need to fight. Hannity SHOULD BE one of those brave souls getting our message out and fighting for us. He does get some of it out but when crunch time comes he shows himself to be just another sniveling RINO, a man who is more concerned with playing by their rules so as to keep what he has than in actually saving America and her way of life.

If we let them get away with this they will do it again and again and again. Why not? The only way to put this djinn back in the bottle is to attack them in retaliation in the exact same way. Only by everyone fearing the terrible consequences of this can we put a stop to it.

We are at war yet too many still think this is a gentleman's disagreement. It's not; they are trying to destroy us. When the law no longer rpresents justice but is a weapon it becomes time to nullify the law, just as a jury may do when the law is abusing someone who does not deserve it. Time for nullification.

And it's time we stop listening to guys like Hannity and find someone who understand the mortal peril we find ourselves in.

The REAL Crime

Charlie Kirk
@charliekirk11

For those of you keeping score at home...

In 2016, Hillary Clinton's campaign secretly paid more than a million dollars to foreign spies to create entire fictions out of whole cloth in order to smear Donald Trump as a Russian agent. These concealed payments ultimately led to illegal spying on a presidential campaign and a pointless, multimillion dollar Congressional witch hunt that derailed nearly three years of a presidential term. For these illegal payments, the FEC fined the Clinton campaign just $8,000, and the DNC $105,000.

Trump, in contrast, spent $130,000 to spare his wife the embarrassment of a porn star's extortion attempt. None of the money was used to target Hillary Clinton or any other political opponents. It was done under advice of counsel. The FEC declined to even fine Trump over the payments. Yet he's the one facing four years in prison for an alleged "campaign finance violation."
