Michelle Obama "Let them Eat Cake"

Timothy Birdnow

Michelle Obama, the black Dr. Frank N. Furter, condemns white Americans for leaving dangerous "changing" neighborhoods.

She says of white flight "you're still running".

Well, gollyyyy!

I guess she missed it; black people flee the cities in rates comparable to whites, and for the same reasons. I used to work in the field and know; we had countless black people wanting to move into white neighborhoods, not because they loved living with white people but because they wanted to get away from crime, chaos, and disorder - exactly what you have in the ghetto.

But then, these black people didn't have Tony Rezko "donating" land to them, or get sweetheart mortgages, or get a no-show job at a hospital job that pays over three hundred grand a year.

Oh, and the Mooche currently lives in Kaloramo Heights, an exclusive neighborhood in D.C. with a minority population of 4%, while the surrounding areas are over fifty percent.

But those fleeing white folks don't have to worry about having their five hundred dollar tennis shoes stolen; unlike the Mooch they have canvas ones from Payless.

White a deplorable woman. Michelle has not just a touch of Marie Antoinette "let them eat cake" in her.

1 Apparently, with all the moolah the Obamas spent on their two expensive white-neighborhood residences, there wasn't enough change left over to buy Moochie a clue. But then, we remember hearing that her college thesis was racist-tinged, and it appears she hasn't learned anything since then.
Speaking of my own neighborhood -- which I do frequently -- my side of the street consists of what are called "twin homes" in the Midwest, and two doors up from me there resides a wonderful black family. I don't know if they own or rent. The home on the other side of them has been occupied by a great white family (who are moving out because the wife has MS and they need a place with services) who are bosom friends with the blacks -- as are we. A few doors up, a black woman (also a friend) owns the entire home -- both sides. Further up is an apartment complex inhabited by whites, blacks, Hispanics, you name it -- most with elementary-school aged kids who seem to get along just fine. Across the street is a large apartment complex of one-and-two-bedroom units, ditto.
I don't know what Moochie would make of that. And frankly, I don't care.
Oh, did I forget to mention that one unit on my side is occupied by a Somali family with a couple of kids? They are upscale enough that one of the cars in the garage is a Caddy, the other is a Honda Pilot; and last I saw, the kids ride the same school bus with the other kids, to the local elementary school.

2 I grew up in a neighborhood much like that - except they were all single family homes. The fact is, racism is more often seen at the top of the ladder, where the Mooch and her quarter black hubby feed.

3 At the top of the ladder, often. Not always, of course, for in spite of those who insist Trump is a racist, he isn't.

And it's often found -- more often, in fact -- at the bottom of the ladder. I still remember reading about the country hick (I won't call him a redneck because rednecks are often quite noble people) who said, seriously, "If you can't feel you're better than a n****er, who can you feel you're better than?"
There are many arguments against that line of thinking, and my favorite is "Why do you have to feel you're better than anybody else?" You could, if you really wanted to, go through life trying to elevate your neighbors to your level (or what you felt your level was, because if you're like this hick, you think you're higher up than you really are) and thereby raise all the boats in the harbor. And you might really find it to be greatly enjoyable doing so.
And you might actually raise yourself too -- who knows?

I grew up exposed to some "white trash" kids. Realized that some of 'em realized what they were, and have wondered what they ended up as. . . Is it possible to transcend what you started out as? It's best if the people you're dealing with don't act as if you're the end of the earth -- as if you might actually have some possibilities. Remember: the Lord made us all!

4 Good point, Dana.  I have a good friend who should have wound up being "white trash". The guy's mother died when he was a kid, and his father was an alcoholic who abandoned him when he was fifteen. This guy lived wherever he could with little money. His older brother died in a drug deal gone bad. A cursory glance at him would lead you to give up on him.

But he was determined to be something more. He found Christ. He worked his way through college, becoming an RN. He married a decent girl and had a family. He's a pillar of the community now, a man beyond reproach.

He would have simply been written off had he been evaluated by some Progressive psychologist.

You cannot judge a book by its cover.
