Yellen Warns of Coronavirus Recession

Timothy Birdnow

Rush Limbaugh warned that the Coronavirus is being weaponized by the media and Democrats to beat up President Trump. Many have called him paranoid or idiotic for this claim, but is he?

I submit this for your consideration.

Former Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen is warning that the Coronavirus may throw the U.S. into a recession.

Yellen was current Fed Chair Jerome Powell's mentor.

From the article:

Former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen said depending on how widely the coronavirus spreads, the economic impact could have a significant impact on Europe and veer the U.S. toward a recession."We could see a significant impact on Europe, which has been weak to start with, and it’s just conceivable that it could throw the United States into a recession,” Yellen said Wednesday at an event in Michigan.

Bear in mind, whenever the Fed chair speaks investors listen. That is no doubt true of former Fed chairs.

I've been warning for some time about the dangers of the Federal Reserve engaging in some skullduggery to slow the economy just in time for the Presidential election so as to get Trump out. They may use this as a pretext for a slowing economy. Certainly Yellen is trying to talk the economy down here.

Watch for some serious monkey business in the next few months from the central bankers

1 Any way to get him, eh? And lo-fo voters will think it's his fault.
Oughtta have to pass a civics test in addition to a citizenship test in order to vote for the President. . .

2 I've always agreed with that last Dana. The courts have made it illegal; it was used as a way to deny blacks the vote back in the bad old days. But ignorance is an equal opportunity offender and we should not have nitwits voting. End of discussion.

I have a mentally retarded nephew who votes regularly. His mother is a Dean at a Boston university and so is naturally a major Democrat and liberal. Guess which way this guy votes?  His rationale for voting for Hillary was "she has nice skin". Not only is that patently wrong (she has greasy, oily skin turning crocodilian) but it is an example of why some people should not be allowed to vote. His vote negates mine in the election, and he knows nothing about policy or what it is the President even does.

There is something seriously wrong when someone with IQ numbers equivalent to temperature numbers on a spring day can vote. I love the kid, but come on!

3 Wonder what he'd think about Cherokee Lizzie's skin?

4 If she's the nominee I'm sure he'll love it because his mother will.
