When Supreme Court justice Ketanji Brown Jackson claimed she couldn’t define "woman” during her confirmation hearings in 2022, it created quite a stir. The story only would’ve been better if Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), who’d asked the then-judicial nominee to define the term, had followed up with, "Are you a woman, Judge Jackson?” The follow-up to that then should’ve been:

"How do you know?”

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh warns that malicious prosecutions could spell the end of the Presidency as an institution.

Justice Kavanaugh said that when presidents are subject to prosecution, history shows that it’s not going to stop.

"It’s going to cycle back and be used against the current president or the next president ... and the next president and the next president after that.”

Justice Neil Gorsuch, who said that the court is "writing a rule for the ages,” along with Justice Samuel Alito and Justice Kavanaugh all said that their concern was not so much the case against President Trump, but rather the effect of the ruling on future presidencies.

"This case has huge implications for the presidency, for the future of the presidency, for the future of the country,” Justice Kavanaugh said.
‘Rule for the Ages’
Former Deputy Solicitor General Michael Dreeben, who argued for Mr. Smith, said that the framers of the U.S. Constitution never intended for presidents to be above the law.

Mr. Dreeben also said that the crimes President Trump is charged with—including allegedly participating in a scheme to enlist dueling electors in battleground states won by President Joe Biden to cast alternate slates of electoral votes for him—weren’t a part of the president’s official duties.

Attorney D. John Sauer, who argued for President Trump, told the justices that without presidential immunity from criminal charges, the "presidency as we know it” will be changed, contending that the looming threat is that a decision to deny immunity would "destroy” presidential decisionmaking at a time in the nation’s history when it needs to be bold.

Mr. Sauer argued that the impact of the case would have implications far beyond the question at hand, raising the hypothetical prospect of President Biden facing charges of encouraging illegal immigration with his border policies.

Justice Kavanaugh expressed concern about the future implications of the case, warning of the prospect of a vicious cycle of malicious prosecutions that could hamper presidents for years to come.

According to 538Trump leads Biden in all swing states and is even with Commander McBiden nationally.

538 is the Democrats beloved pollster and no fan of the Donald.

So Biden is losing both nationally and especially in the battleground states.

Time to expect some fireworks. Biden and his ilk no doubt have an October surprise for Trump. Probably a war but it could be a number of other things. No doubt Biden is hoping for a conviction in New York.

I'm surprised the University City cops (not the cmapus police but the municipal cops) had the cajones.

Question; will Stein be prosecuted and treated in the same way Donald Trump was treated? Will she face hundreds of years prison time? Charged with insurrection?

Somehow I suspect not.

Washington University is 24% Jewish. Shouldn't this be prosecuted as a hate crime?

Trump's attorneys tore some big holes in the prosecution's case in the bogus Stormy Daniels "hush money" trial.

Considering the gag order put on it, this should be the "hush Trump"  case.

On Friday, Emil Bove, an attorney for Donald Trump, continued questioning Pecker, (from the National Inquirer) who claimed during his testimony that he purchased the rights to multiple unfavorable stories about Trump to ensure they never went to publication. Pecker's actions were referred to as a "catch-and-kill" scheme.

Pecker claimed that he had an arrangement with Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen to ensure the stories never saw the light of day. Also, during his testimony, he said he expected to be reimbursed directly by Trump or the Trump Organization for the scheme.

Pecker gave former Playboy playmate Karen McDougal $150,000 for her story. She claimed that she had had an extramarital affair with Trump. Pecker admitted that Trump never reimbursed him for his purchase of the story. Bove attempted to poke holes in Pecker's testimony, noting that the story would have been beneficial for the tabloid to run, and McDougal was trying to restart her career at the time she made the allegations.

Additionally, Pecker said he paid $30,000 for the exclusive rights to another story that turned out to be untrue, though he admitted he would have run the article if it had been accurate. He also did not receive any money from Trump for that story.

Despite previously being interested in McDougal's story, Pecker claimed that he "didn't want anything to do" with porn actress Stormy Daniels' story. She also claimed she had an affair with Trump.

"I said to Michael Cohen that after paying for the doorman story and the Karen McDougal story, I wasn't going to pay anything further and I wasn't a bank," Pecker testified.

During his testimony earlier this week, Pecker claimed that Trump had thanked him for not running the unfavorable stories. However, Bove pointed out that in a 2018 interview with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Pecker did not state that Trump had expressed any gratitude toward him or the tabloid for such actions.

"Are you suggesting the FBI made a mistake here?" Bove asked Pecker.

Pecker acknowledged that the bureau's notes were inconsistent with his testimony.

"I know what the truth is, I can't state why this is written this way. I know what was said to me," he responded.

Bove questioned whether Pecker still has equity in the National Enquirer's parent company, AMI. Pecker replied that he does.

"Part of AMI's business model was to purchase stories, correct?" Bove questioned.

Pecker confirmed that the company did regularly buy the rights to news stories and that the practice was not unique to Trump. The former publisher noted that there were other celebrities who were promoted by the tabloid and provided a warning when negative press was about to be published. Pecker previously said that he had a similar arrangement with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He admitted that publishing negative stories about Trump dating back to the 1990s was "not good for business." Pecker further acknowledged that he had never heard the term "catch and kill" prior to the case. Additionally, many of the negative articles about Trump's presidential opponents published by the National Enquirer were "not exclusive" to the tabloid, indicating that other media outlets had first reported the stories.

I rather think that applies here, to teach the futility of war to the nations of the Earth by having the U.S.lose, Russia lose, Ukraine lose. See, we all lose so we need a world peace authority! I think that is why the Internationalists are so gung ho on this continuing. That and all the war profits of course.

Oh, and they want to drag Russia into the "rules based order" of the West and the dominion of the big international corporations.

Rollerball was prescient in that too. It predicted the decline of the nation states in favor of giant multinational corporations.

Dick "Turban" Durbin wants to give the right to vote to illegal aliens.

He demands full citizenship rights, which would include the right to vote. He demands that America change forever, without citizens ever having a vote or even a say about it.
