Trump Lawfare in Retreat

Timothy Birdnow

The rats are deserting a sinking ship.

CNN — Judge Merchan is considering throwing out convictions against Trump.

Now Merchan knows his own behavior could come to light and his skeletons may erupt from his closet. he figured this would take Trump out but not now and he wants to stay on the bench and out of jail. I say don't let him no matter what happens.

Meanwhile Fani Willis is putting the Trump case on hold for five years to try to save her own skin.

Trump shouldn't let her off the hook. He needs to have his DOJ look into crimes by Willis and prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law. Otherwise Willis will go after Trump when he is no longer President. It's personal with this puta.

And people like Merchan and Willis have to be punished as an example to others who may try to weaponize the law for political gain.

And it can be done despite the fact Willis won big in her last election. Here in Missouri we kicked Soros-backed BLM activist Kim Gardner out as Prosecuting Attonrey for the City of St. Louis despite her re-election with over sixty percent of the vote. It just takes a willingness to act, to uphold the law and not fear "black rage" in the hood. No Republican is going to get the vote in a neighborhood that put a gal like Willisin so readily anyway.

I hope Trump holds a grudge. He will be making a grave mistake if he doesn't, and it is not so much vengeance as justice. If he fails to ruin these people others will only do this thing again.

Trump Still Comfortably Ahead in Popular Vote

Timothy Birdnow

Trump maintains a 5 million vote lead over Harris in the popular vote. No doubt the Democrats are frantically manufacturing votes in California to try to steal the vote count (as they did in 2020) to deligitimize Trump's win. But five million is a LOT of ballots to stuff in after the fact.

I wonder how many illegals voted in this election? There most assuredly were more than five million of them who came in. If ten percent voted we are looking at one and a half million more votes that went for Harris that wouldn't have appeared at all. So Trump would be up six and a half million. Yes, this is pure speculation, but I am certain a sizable chunk of 'em voted; it was the reason why Biden let them stroll in here and then shipped them to red states in the first place.

I imagine the Democrats are trembling now. They believed Carville and the rest who said the Democrats were facing total power in the coming years because "demographics is destiny", an easily disproven statement. The democraphics argument presupposed a genetic predisposition to vote a certain way; it rejects free will. It's historically inaccurate; Black people were overwhelmingly Republican up until Roosevelt, and have been solidly Democrat since. Now they seem to be shifting back to the GOP again. Why? because they aren't idiots and many now realize the Democratic party has screwed them over the years. Irish Americans used to be nearly entirely in the tank for the Democrats but are increasingly voting Republican as they see the Democrats falling out of line with their values. Italian Americans are increasingly Republican too.

So "demographics is destiny" is a load of hooey. People can be pursuaded. The Democrats lost because they didn't bother to pursuade anyone, prefering to forcibly shut the mouths of detractors rather than engage them and best them with logic and with better policy.

And despite how much they gaslight, the Democrats just couldn't hide the fact their emperor is nude any longer. It worked for a season but now the child pointed "the emperor is naked!" and many have seen this for themselves.

I think the whole leftist cartel went too far and tipped their hand. The Devil's greatest trick is to make you not beleive in him, and the Mafia always practiced Omerta, the policy of denying there was such a critter as Cosa Nostra. The Democrats used to work that way, with stealth socialism, and they moved the ball to our five yard line. But they pushed too hard to get it into the end-zone, eschewing the patient fabian-socialism of previous generations under the mistaken impression they had won over the People and needn't bother hiding any longer. Now the back of the stage has been exposed and we know they have been lying to us. And we now know what they have been peddling is a failure and always will be.

Trump is as transformative as Ronald Reagan and Joe Biden was as much a catalyst to that reform as was Jimmy Carter. Like the Joker and Batman, you cannot have the Caped Crusader without the villain.

Harris Lost the Indian Vote

Timothy Birdnow

I couldn't find a specific beakdown on the numbers on Indian-Americans who voted for Harris, a woman who herself is half Indian (and half Jamaican) but I did find this little tidbit; she was losing support from the 5,2 Million Indian-Americans at an alarming rate just a few days before the election was held.

And according to NDTV, a full sixty percent of Indian Americans dumped the first Indian to run for President in favor of Donald J. Trump.

So Harris lost her own demographic, and Walz his own state. In fact Walz

Why? Because these two are radicals with radical ideas and the Hindus certainly didn't cotton to them. Transgenderism is something not very popular with Hindus. Hindus also find abortion reprehensible (as evidenced by their billion-plus population) and they aren't keen on many of her other policies. But also I suspect her patronizing approach to winning the black vote, with her fake accent, probably offended them, most especially since she was raised by her Indian mother and not Jamaican father. In their minds she should be Indian. She pretended not to be, and in fact Trump calling her out about that was roundly seen at the time as an unforced error by Trump but upon reflection it may well have cost Harris some key votes.

(I've come to conclude Trump usually knows what he is doing even if it seems unclear and a mistake to us.)

At any rate the Punch and Judy show just lacked, well, any punch. I almost feel sorry for the two; it has to hurt to even be rejected by your own people.
But I'm not losing any sleep over it; these two would have hounded us to death had they won. It was what they deserved. But it still is a little sad.

Adams Cuts Off Illegals, Says He "Welcomes" Them

Timothy Birdnow

For a while NYC mayor Eric Adams was making sense. Mugged by his own followers and being accused of crimes of corruption Adams seemed poised to turn his back on the same nasty Progressives who were after him. But he apparently didn't learn.

Now he says he will conttinue towelcome illegal aliens to Gotham, which is increasingly resembling the fictional Gotham of Bat Man fame.

I say let us give him what he wants. Let's ship all the "migrants" as folks like Adams love to call them to the Big Apple so they can enjoy his hospitality, and he can then explain to his constituents why the city is being overrun. Maybe Trump can make it an official detention site for those awaiting deportation. That would be fitting.

The Left has no common sense and Adams, despite being mugged by reality, apparently has none either, even now. I suppose he thinks they will leave him alone if he behaves. Fool.

And hypocritical. Adams is on record saying the huge influx of illegal aliens will destroy New York City and he even stopped giving prepaid debit cards to illegals. But he still plans to "welcome" "migrants"? I suppose he plans to do that with other people's money? His welcome is warm as can be as long as it is in someone else's yard.

Does Powell Plan to Jacksonize Trump?

Timothy Birdnow

Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell says Trump cannot fire him and he will not resign.

Now why is Powell saying that just days after a big vicotory by Trump and the GOP would he come out and say such a thing.

And what will Powell do to warrant said firing? Why, it's almost as if he plans to pull a Nicholas Biddle? Biddle was head of the Second Bank of the United States who purposely tried to crash the U.S. economy (and succeeded) to wreck Andrew Jackson's presidency. Jackson won and he closed the Bank but Biddle managed to cause major problems in the economy in the process, problems many liberal historians and economists now blame on Jackson's killing the central bank.

Is that what Powell plans, to strangle the economy so Trump takes the blame?

BTW Trump has suggested he might remove Powell from office. While the conventional wisdom is he can't,but must wait for Powell's term to expire, the law is less than clear. First, the President can remove the chairman any time "for cause" which is usually  interpreted as meaning malfeasance or lawbreaking but it could perhaps be argued for other reasons in court. HOWEVER he could demote Powell and choose another chairman; there is nothing in the rules about that.

But as this is all hypothetical one has to ask about Powell; normally the head of the Federal Reserve is very circumspect and tight-lipped because otherwise markets could  roil. Just bringing it up right after the election suggests horrible judgment and probably Powell is telling the Democratic Left that he will be on their side during the Trump tenure of office.

Putin Wants to Negotiate

Timothy Birdnow

NOW he's ready to talk!

Putin — I’m ready to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.

Funny; didn't Donald Trump say he could get this thing to end in no time at all when he was campaigning? Now he's been President-elect for just a couple of days and Putin is ready to negotiate.

We all suspected this would happen all along. Putin only invaded because Biden showed what a weak and cowardly man he is and Putin knew he could do it without any real consequences.

Muslims Rampaging in Amsterdam

Timothy Birdnow

Amsterdam was always a city welcoming diversity and those in need of sanctuary. It has a long tradition of that, going back to the Puritans and even before. But now?

Now we have Muslim gangs rampaging in the streets, hunting down Jews as if they were foxes in an old style English fox hunt.

It is so bad Israel is evacuating any Jew they can find.

Why now? They know Donald Trump will bring the hammer down on them soon.

How can you not love a guy like this?

Trump sent a letter of resignation to McDonalds thanking them for the opportunity and offering to train his replacement!

As he explains he will be taking a new job soon and won't be able to fulfill any more duties at the fast-food restaurant.

Now stand back so as to be out of the splash zone when liberal heads explode.

The Colin Kapernick of NASCAR

Timothy Birdnow

NASCAR had previously fined hate-crime hoaxster Bubba Wallace half a million bucks for r retaliatory contact against race winner Alex Bowman at the Chicago Street Race, hitting Bowman's car in a childish fit of pique. He and his racing team - 23XI Racing - have filed an anti-trust lawsuit against NASCAR in retaliation (see a pattern here?)

And everyone remembers the fake hate crime where supposedly a "noose" was left hanging to intimidate him - which turned out to be a garage door rope, and even the FBI said there was zero merit to Wallace' ridiculous "mee too" claim.

Now we have NASCAR fining Wallace a hundred grand for "race manipulation and actions detrimental to stock car racing." after antics at the Martinsville race. He faked a flat tire to help fellow racer and make competitor Chrisopher Bell swerve to hit the wall.

This guy is bad news; he should be banned from NASCAR, and probably from all racing.

But then he would no doubt sue by claiming racial discrimination. He's the Colin Kapernick of NASCAR.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road

Timothy Birdnow

The Democrats blew $2.1 BILLION to drag Kamala Harris across the finish line - and failed!

Couple that with all the free good press she received and that makes Trump's victory all the sweeter.

Harris outraised Trump by a margin of 5 to 1 and STILL lost!

Most of Mr. Trump's money came from small donations, and that is why they dried up; the tree had been shaken and there was little left to fall. But Harris? Much of her cash was "dark money" meaning it came through superpacs via NGO's that do not have to disclose the source of revenue.

See Election Shatters Records Fueled by Billion Dollar Dark Money Infusion

FTA:

"The cycle’s top spender is Future Forward USA PAC, a hybrid PAC supporting Harris that has reported spending about $517.1 million on the presidential race with hundreds of millions of that attacking Trump in the final weeks of the election cycle.

Several major donors reportedly threatened to pause contributions to the hybrid PAC after President Joe Biden’s debate performance in June but money poured in after Harris entered the race.

Future Forward is required to disclose donors to the FEC but its top donor is a closely-tied dark money group, Future Forward USA Action, leaving the ultimate source of over $136.4 million of its funds unknown.

As a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, Future Forward USA Action is not legally required to disclose its donors and does not voluntarily do so. But investigations have revealed some of the dark money group’s funding sources.

Billionaire media mogul Mike Bloomberg reportedly gave $50 million to Future Forward’s nonprofit arm, according to reporting by the New York Times, along with another $19 million to the hybrid PAC this cycle.

Future Forward’s PAC has also received $10 million from Democracy PAC, a super PAC funded entirely by billionaire megadonor George Soros and gains on the money it has invested. Open Society Policy Center, a nonprofit funded by Soros, has also disclosed steering money to Future Forward USA Action with $20 million during the 2022 election cycle.

In addition to the substantial funding it has received from Future Forward USA Action, other major donors reported by Future Forward’s PAC include billionaire LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman, who gave $10 million. Dustin Moskovitz, another billionaire internet entrepreneur who co-founded Facebook, has given $38 million to the hybrid PAC."

According to at least one site Harris raked it over eight and a half times what Trump took in in dark money. And since dark money requires no reporting it seems quite likely this cash is coming from America's overseas enemies. How much did China contribute to Harris? Iran? Russia? For that matter how much money did Ukraine donate? I hae no doubt they were taking American taxpayer dollars given to them by the Biden Administration and donating it to superpacs to tamper with our election.

Follow the money, always follow the money.

Happily the powers of Hell have failed to prevail this time. But it will not be so forever, especially as many Americans will soon forget and go back to bad old habits.

American Caesar

Timothy Birdnow

"Many of you wished me dead. Many of you perhaps still do. But I
hold no grudges and
seek no revenge. I
demand only this...that
you join with me in
building a new Rome, a
Rome that offers
justice, peace and land to all its citizens, not just the privileged few. Support me in this task, and old divisions will be forgotten. Oppose me,
and Rome will not
forgive you a second
time. Senators, the war is over."

Julius Caesar

I just learned an interesting little fact; despite the bad joke about Puerto Rico being "floating garbage" the good people of that Carribean island paradise actually elected a REPUBLICAN as governor - Jennifer Gonzalez Colon, who is currently the non-voting representative for Puerto Rico. Seems the U.S. protectorate is drifting to the right.

No wonder we didn't hear so much talk this time of making Puerto Rico a state; the Dems realize they are starting to lose it and are probably frightened to push for statehood now.

Also, in Florida heavily Puerto Rican areas flipped to Trump. For instance osceola county, a county that is 30% Puerto Rican and which had gone for Biden by 14 points in 2020 flipped to Trump by +1.5, signalling that many PUerto Ricans voted Trump.

So Puerto Ricans seem to be moving from blue to red. Now might be a good time to just float the idea of statehood for Puerto Rico just to watch the Democrats squirm. (Not actually do it now but float the idea to see how they react.)

I suspect the last four years have been a splash of cold water on the faces of many of the traditional Democratic groups and slowly but surely they are starting to realize their interests - and their futures - lie not with the socialist Democrats but with the more traditional GOP.

Certainly Ted Cruz' big win in Texas suggests Hispanics in general are moving to the right. (I think it is myopic to look at Hispanics as a single group; they are as vastly different as Europeans and a person from Ecuador would be insulted at his being characterized as the same thing as a Mexican, say.) Granted, it's hard to tailor a message to every variant of Hispanic, but we need to discriminate a little better if we want to pull in the major groups in that block. But they may well be turning away from the socialist Democrats and for the same reason many of them left their homelands in the first place. No Venezualan refugee wants to put in an anglo version of Hugo Chavez.

lt is often true too that first generation immigrants are liberals and Democrats; they are here with limited resources and the Democrats give them free stuff. But as they rise in the free market system they start to realize that this does not serve them well, but rather keeps them poor and ignorant and that by design. So they start to flip to the GOP as they mature as Americans. I wonder (hope) is this isn't what is happening now? Are many Hispanics growing as Americans and coming to appreciate the need to maintain a free market system and a politically diverse country? Perhaps.

Getting back to Puerto Rico many of them saw the neglect of the Democrats over the years, especially after hurricanes decimated their Island. And they saw it was under Republican leadership they rebuilt, not under Democrats. The Democrats solution was always to move them to Republican states in America and force them to live here. There was little interest in rebuilding by the Dems.

I would add the New Progressive Party is one of the two main parties in Puerto Rico and it actually advocates independence and not statehood. It is considered right of center. THIS is the party of Jennifer Gonzalez Colon. So there remains strong sentiment in Puerto Rico to NOT become a state (precisely why now would be a good time to float the idea by the GOP "if the good people of Puerto Rico so choose".)

Any way you slice it Trump is eating the Democrats lunch and in fact reinvigorating their traditional power base. That's why they so hate the man.

High time. For decades now there has been nobody to speak for Middle America, or any of the marginalized groups (and Middle America is now a marginalized group) and Trump is building a coalition that could well be nigh unto unbeatable. Oh, and the RINO wing is tiptoeing around now. If any group should not have a party it is they, not us. They never considered what we wanted but simply grabbed everything they themselves wanted and told us to like it or lump it. How's that lump taste now, eh?

Julius Caesar and later his nephew Octavius (Augustus) transformed Rome from a corrupt republic in a constant state of civil war into a reasonably peaceful empire and they did so by appealing to the populi - the average person. Caesar's enemies were all patrician types, appealing to the aristocrats and rich men. Caesar and Octavius built a lasting kingdom on the shoulders of Middle Rome. There is great power in the People and both men knew it.

Trump is the American Caesar. He's systematically ingathering the neglected peoples and wedding them to his cause. The Ruling Class - the American Patricians - have most of the advantages, and with technology at their command they seem unbeatable, but so too did the patricians at the time of Caesar. Men like Sulla, or eventually Pompey or Cato, were all from the Patrician class.

Trump, like Caesar, was gracious in victory and put many of his enemies in positions of authority after his triumph. They subsequently killed h im and for the same reasons they have been taking pot-shots at Mr. Trump; Caesar was a reformer who built on the shoulders of the People and that was something the Patricians could not allow.

Octavius would learn the lesson of that; he wiped out his enemies in a series of "proscriptions" which included Brutus and Longinus, two of Julius' assassins, and later he would finish off Marcus Antonious aka Mark Antony, as well as a host of others. He wasn't so much blood-thirsty as he understood better the kinds of vipers he was dealing with.

I wonder at all this; the parallels between the two Caesars and Trump and perhaps his Octavius - J.D. Vance - are rather interesting. Will Trump meet the same fate as Caesar? Certainly that is an attractive prospect to the Demo-Left Patricians. Will J.D. Vance step up as did Augustus? Hard to say.

But I find a striking similarity between then and now. History always repeats. The question is, will Mr. Trump be able to save America as did the two Caesars? Or will they fail and will it all come crashing down? At this stage the salvation of America is a dubious prospect and I am not at all sure it can be done. But Trump is doing everything right and it may be we will see a stronger America emerge. Oh, and Trump is no Caesar; he isn't going to have murder lists like Augustus did. But he can still drive a stake through the Left's heart.

Let us hope anyway. History repeats; first as tragedy then as farce. Let's hope it is neither.

The Trump that Shall Never Call Retreat

Timothy Birdnow

Do we expect anything else?

Kamala Campaign Manager Says She Plans to Kneecap Trump Presidency

OF COURSE they plan to sabotage Trump and make him as unsuccessful as possible. Fortunately I suspect Trump will be ready for that this time around.

The choice of Attorney General is all-important; Trump needs a man who will be completely loyal and at the same time squeaky clean. He needs someone doctrinaire, and someone willing to go after these people to the fullest extent of the law. Oh, and someone from outside the Swamp.

Might I suggest Missouri's attorney general Andrew Bailey? Bailey would probably jump at the chance and he's proven himself to be just the kind of AG that Trump needs. He's been a solid defender of middle America for several years now.

But if not Bailey there are plenty of other folks who would make great AG's; Jay Seculow and Jeanine Pirro are two names that come to mind. Maybe Ron DeSantis would agree to be AG? (Probably not but who knows? I would prefer to leave him in place for the next Senate election.)

But we cannot afford another Bill Barr or Jeff Sessions. Trump was twice suckered by the Swamp and paid a terrible price. Had Sessions not recused himself from the Trump investigation in the first place much of what we endured would have been short-circuited. But he handed the reins over to Rod Rosenstein, a deep-state guy, and thus we suffered endless investigations that tied Trump up in octopodal fashion. The Democrats will try this again; Trump needs to not fall for it.

In fact Trump should recruit from the state level as much as possible and bypass the Washington Beltway dwellers entirely. He was elected by Middle America - he should have an administration that is made up of Middle America.

One thing is certain; we need a real fighter at the helm in the AG's office, a COMPETENT fighter. The Democrats are going to double down on lawfare; so should we.

A side point; it is perhaps time for Clarence Thomas to step down, now while Trump has the ability to appoint a replacement. Thomas is 76 years old - younger than Trump, certainly, but he'll either be retiring or dying in dure course and we don't want him to go at an inopportune time as did Antonin Scalia. We got very lucky, with Trump able to put Neil Gorsuch into office. But the Democrats lost Ruth Bader Ginsburg at a bad time from their perspective and would up with Amy Conehead Barrett, whom the Democrats despised. Granted, she's moved to the Left since taking her seat. But Trump had no way of knowing she would be so cozy with the statists in the "RBG seat".

I hate losing Thomas, I really do. But if we are to lose him eventually I most earnestly hope it is on our terms and not the Democrats.

Smith's Cases Dropped

Timothy Birdnow

It was ALWAYS political!

Breaking — Merrick Garland, Jack Smith drop both cases against President Trump.

Now that Trump can pardon himself they are going to cut their losses and move on with some new deviltry.

If they don't drop this it may be Mr. Trump won't drop it either - and that could  hurt a LOT! They want to keep this dirty trick in reserve for the next time they are in power.

Trump would be a fool to allow both of these men to just walk away from this. It will only invite more of this down the road.

The Fight Has Just Begun

Timothy Birdnow

We knew this was coming!

100+ progressive groups are already working on resisting Trump.

They are going to try to Bork Trump like they did last time. We have to be ready to take the fight to these monsters.

BTW the GOP at most barely held the House and may have lost, and only picked up two seats in the senate. Why? Because Congressional Republicans have been cowards all along and unwilling to fight and this is what happens to cowards. McConnell actively worked against MAGA, and when push came to shove MAGA was less interested in working for an ingrate like that. Ditto the House where Squeeker Johnson has betrayed us repeatedly, despite talking a good game.

You can't expect people to stand with you when you won't stand with them.

The fight has just begun, folks.

A Day of Thanks

Timothy Birdnow

Lett us all make today a day of thanks to Almighty God, who heard our plea and defended us against the evil one.

Time to pray in thanksgiving, folks!

BTW I have some turkey thighs and plan to have them with some sweet potatoes for supper - an early thanksgiving in gratitude for what God has wrought today.

At a minimum we all should say a prayer of thanksgiving. This could not have happened without the hand of God. Trump was right; God spared his life to do His work - for US. We should all thank Him!

BTW Half of the pro-abortion amendments passed yesterday. We should all tremble; God is just and it was God who sent those children to us and we will have an accounting for that. My home state of Missouri passed one, and so now abortion on demand is the law of the land up to birth. There will be a terrible price to pay for that.

Fani Willis Wins Big

Timothy Birdnow

How could THIS happen?

Fani Willis Somehow Wins Reelection in Landslide

This means Willis will continue her one-woman crusade against Trump, and charges will not be dropped. This further means she could well bring down Trump's presidency.

Now more than ever we need to charge her with crimes and remove her from office. She'll never stop and the Democrats will back her, along with the media. She clearly is dirty, and lied under oath about her relationship with her underling. She needs to be impeached by the Georgia legislature.

How do you maintain a viable republican form of government with an electorate so insane as to vote in this type of partisan hack, a hack willing to defecate on the Constitution just for political power?
