Willis Eschenbach collected the data below showing every key track and field women's world record in the second column. In the first column is a women's record beating time, distance or height achieved by boys aged 14 or 15 years of age.

Whether it's athletics, tennis, soccer, cricket, baseball, swimming, almost anything, the best male youths aged around 15 will beat the world's best women.

The only cases I can think of where this isn't true is where finesse rather than strength or height are an issue. Sports such as diving, synchronised swimming, artistic gymnastics, shooting, figure skating, snow boarding and certain other gym events, sailing, maybe even white water kayaking, women are on more of an even playing field, or have an advantage over males.

This shouldn't even be a matter of debate. If males who choose to transition to, or identify as females want to play sports, then they should do so in the male competition, or in 'mixed' events, or even consider separate competitions. Or simply accept they shouldn't be competing with actual females.

This isn't an issue I lose any sleep over, but it's sad we live in a society where some sports organisations are so desperate to appear 'inclusive', they are prepared to throw females competitors under the bus.

On Saturdays a television channel I get runs the reality show "Alone" and I have taken to watching it. Women never win. They don't win because they are not physically able to win. They lack the body mass to survive the starvation, and just can't do some of the things the men can. Oh, and they usually spend too much energy nesting; the men just slap up a meager shelter and call it good, while the women seem to generally devote a lot of calories to making a shelter a home. The point is this translates to sports just as well. There are real limitations on women because of body mass and size and whatnot, be it in sports or in a contest for survival.
