Trump Organization turns Chicken

The Trump organization has cravenly caved to the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Council on American Islamic Relations and has banned an event by ACT for America featuring Michelle Malkin.
ACT for America received the following from Mara Largo:
Seems the SCLP has designated ACT for America a "hate group" along with those racist cloistering Catholic nuns called the Pink Sisters. CAIR of course accuses anyone who opposes radical Islam of "hate". Then the media dutifully jumped on board.
So the Trump people turned tail and ran. Cowards.
If there is anybody who should be careful not to deplatform friends it should be the Trump people; the President needs all the friends he can get. Throwing ACT for America and Michelle Malkin under the bus suggests a most grievous character flaw, an act of sheer cowardice.
Trump had best remember who his friends are, or he will surely find himself alone.

Liberal policy has been, "We will only let you speak if you agree with us." If conservatives are going to adopt a similar policy there is no hope left at all for democracy. All that will be left is, "Who can muster the bigger army."

Yep, Bill. The Left doesn't debate, they bully and silence. Sadly, our side is bullied and silenced by them, and even helps them do it out of fear.
The Mafia derived a good deal of its power by making average people complicit in their crimes. That is what is happening now.
If they succeed at this, then revolution is indeed the only avenue of redress left. I think the older leftists understood that and were willing to allow some dissent for that reason. The young turks are oblivious, and may well trigger a civil war.
