Shepard Smith leaving Fox

Timothy Birdnow

I know this is a little dated but I just wanted to say it! Buh-bye, Shepard Smith! Don't let the door hit you on  the backside as you leave!

Shepard Smith Makes Shocking Announcement that he is Leaving Fox News

I despise the man, who has become increasingly liberal. He often sneers and rolls his eyes and stands up for the Left when he is ostensibly doing the news. I'm very glad to see this creep go. If he wants to be on NBC he's welcome there; we need at least one network that is actually on OUR side.

It is believed Smith is leaving because he has been in conflict with the opinion hosts on the network - people like Hannity or Gutfeld or Brett Baer etc.

He was supposedly mad when Tucker Carlson attacked him on air.

1 I'm totally with you on this. He's been the Brian Williams of Fox News for years. Now, with his departure, he still is.
Let's drink to his leaving. The baritone in our quartet gave me a jug of Jim Beam Black for my birthday. . .

2 Oh, you DID have a happy birthday, Dana!  Jim Beam sure beats Old Overcoat...

I will definitely drink to that!  Plan on getting myself some good bourbon for MY birthday this weekend.

3 And a Happy Birthday to you, Dear Friend! If you can't score some of the Old and the Bold by yourself, I assume your dear wife will help out here; what's life for, after all? A man's a man, for a' that. My splendid wife and I will certainly hoist a dram for ye! Or maybe even two, since we know you aren't supposed to "overdo it."

4 I obtained a bottle of Makers Mark and plan to enjoy a dram or dos. Since it's turning cold I also plan to enjoy a glass of Missouri grown Port. We make some excellent Port-style wines here. Hugh Johnson, the legendary wine writer, believes Missouri is the future of Port-style wines outside of Oporto itself. He was mightily impressed.

Also bought some rib-eyes for a serious feast!
