Ocasio-Cortez appears to have broken federal law by threatening Donald Trump Jr.

Jack Kemp

The gift that keeps on giving has given too much to the GOP and needs to a hard dose of reality.

Gateway Pundit reports that:

CRIMINAL ACT: Democrat Ocasio-Cortez Broke 42 US Code § 1983 By Threatening Donald Trump Jr. with Retaliation Over Snarky meme

From the article" "On Friday Donald Trump Jr. mocked dimwitted Socialist Alexandrea Ocasio-Cortez on Instagram with a popular meme that is going around social media.

Ocasio-Cortez: Why are you so afraid of a socialist economy?
President Trump: Because Americans want to walk their dogs, not eat them.

Of course, it's pretty funny because it it true.

In response Ocasio-Cortez threatened to harass and abuse Don Jr. with a subpoena to testify before Congress.

I have noticed that Junior here has a habit of posting nonsense about me whenever the Mueller investigation heats up.

Please, keep it coming Jr - it's definitely a"œvery, very large brain" idea to troll a member of a body that will have subpoena power in a month.

Have fun!

It appears Ocasio-Cortez broke federal law by threatening a US citizen with retaliation for snarky tweets.
You canâ€â„¢t use the power of the law to get back at people for their Instagram memes, Alexandria!
According to â€â€ 42 U.S. Code § 1983 Civil action for deprivation of rights

Every person who, under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or Territory or the District of Columbia, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress, except that in any action brought against a judicial officer for an act or omission taken in such officerâ€â„¢s judicial capacity, injunctive relief shall not be granted unless a declaratory decree was violated or declaratory relief was unavailable. For the purposes of this section, any Act of Congress applicable exclusively to the District of Columbia shall be considered to be a statute of the District of Columbia.

END OF ARTICLE

The GOP, Donald Trump Jr., or a conservative think tank should take on this airhead Ocasio-Cortez and file a criminal (and perhaps a civil) complaint against her.

I once went to a week long health lecture at a place in the country where I met a woman (with her husband) whom I told about some health food I was taking. This was before there was email. Much to my amazement, this woman later wrote me a letter and asked me if she should not take her medical doctor's advice and switch to taking the same health food I was taking. I wrote her back that I had no license as a health professional nor even a nutritionist and would not advise her to go against her doctors orders. What I left out of my letter was that attempting to overrule a doctor's orders with one's "superior treatment" would be, in fact, the crime of diagnosing and practicing medicine without a license, a crime in all fifty states. And since she lived in another state and sought me to break these laws while using the U.S. Mail to tell her so, I would be breaking federal law with hand written evidence easily proving the crime. I then concluded this was, in fact, the stupidest American born woman I ever met. Until I encountered, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, who has used a publicly documented nationwide forum to break a federal law.

I don't think the GOP should let her skate on this. This woman is moving to normalize dicatorial decrees and make them see, "hip" and "cool." She is a budding fascist, a female Il Duce, who thinks she is now just warming up before the day tells the public that "you have to pass the law to read what's in it." Or worse yet, "You have to read my Tweet to find out what's in the new government policy is, a policy which has the force of law."

Afterword from Jack:

The only problem with smacking her down about this, even though it's legal and probably ought to be done, is that she and her sandbox buddies would retaliate with things like "Oh, can't you take a joke?" and "This just proves the GOP has a war with women" -- and other examples of "Oh, look: a squirrel." However, I think you're right, Jack. Stop this idiocy before it gets too far.

1 On that afterword: if you even give a damn about being called names by your sworn enemies for slapping down this most dangerous agent of tyranny, who as you say "is moving to normalize dicatorial decrees and make them see, 'hip' and 'cool.'", then you're part of the problem.  Fail to stop the Reds now, as the Right in the US is utterly failing at, and the very best case it that we'll be fighting a hot shooting civil war within our lifetimes, with a minimum of tens of millions dying as a result.  See Venezuela for one of the better outcomes if the Reds win.

2 Amen Anonymous!  We have become so afraid of incivility in this country we will tolerate tyranny.

3 Timothy: I think it's a lot worse than that.  So many who claim to be on the Right, which today in truth equals being to the right of Mao, have so internalized the Left's worldview they are effectively Leftists.  They shoot as much or more to the right as they do towards their left, as part of that they furiously virtue signal, borrowing a bit from Sam Hyde, they'd literally rather watch their kids being raped and brainwashed (are in fact doing the latter) before they themselves are ruined and killed, than be called racists.

There's a very biting term that's coined for them, cuckservatives, and being nominally inside our tent, they are for the moment a greater threat to us than the Left, treason from the inside, well, Taylor Caldwell perhaps said it best when she put these words in Cicero's mouth:

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.

4 I couldn't agree more.  I've believed that we are finished for some time now, because we have a fifth column in our own camp.  A BIG fifth column. And, as you point out, too few on our side are anything but sunshine Patriots. It never ceases to amaze me that people on our side run for the hills when words like "racist" are bandied about. How can we expect to accomplish anything when childish words send us into a panic?

5 As both a part answer and hopefully part solution to your question, refer back to my primer of r/K theory as applied to humans.  Labeling someone "racist", especially towards blacks, has been the most powerful way to outgroup someone for decades, we shouldn't be in the least surprised at how much power it still has.

The part solution: well, lots of people change when the environment changes from r, now about the softest of r for humans on record, to hard K.  Lots of course won't, but we'll all have lots of new friends....

Although this doesn't fully explain the depths of the pathology reached, see for example the "conservatives" that virtue signal by adopting "problem" black children from the US, or black children from abroad.  When you read about the hell they go through as a result, you realize that they'll never have much attention to spare for their own kids, should they even try to have any.

Note the black children from abroad aren't necessarily so bad or "problem", but they're almost certainly from pools where the mean IQ is around 65, which is a near unbridgeable gap for mean US residents (100 by definition), let along ones 1SD or above the mean like they probably are (Vox Day uncharitably calls them "midwits").  Also means the children are likely to have a very hard time of it in an industrial, technological society like ours, especially as we flood it with more intelligent Latin Americans.

They're between the US mean and the African-American mean of 85, and note SDs can be different, it's 12 for the latter, their curve is higher and narrower, less outliers in both directions.  Same is true for women, although I don't think I've read what their SD is.  And, hmmm, this is almost certainly one reason Latin American immigrants have been so effective at ethnically cleansing African-Americans from various notable California cities and neighborhoods.  Although I'm sure there's lots more to it, probably stronger inter-group bonds for one, based on where they came from, vs. the atomized US society all we Americans grow up in.

I've seen this the other way around, above average parents bore one +3SD child, myself of course, and they really didn't know what to do with me, let alone had much ability to connect or bond beyond the most basics.  Only my most intelligent brother is able to do that, pity he was "born bad."
