To illustrate how utterly clueless the Progressive elites really are, this story paints a vivid picture. Jack Dorksey, er, Dorsey, head twit at Twitter, has caused a firestorm in India by being photographed with an anti-brahmin sign. Clearly Dorsey believed the Brahmin caste is the equivalent of white male Republicans.
From the article: "Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has been accused of inciting hate against India's highest caste after being photographed holding a poster declaring "smash Brahminical patriarchy" during a visit to the country.
Dorsey was snapped holding the offending poster alongside six women who participated in a discussion last week on the role of Twitter in India, where caste is a flashpoint issue and grievances can turn violent.
The reference to Brahmins, the traditional priestly class who sit atop the rigid caste hierarchy, outraged some Hindus when the photograph was posted online Sunday evening.
"Do you realise that this picture has potential of causing communal riots at a time when several States are going to Assembly Elections in India," tweeted Indian police officer Sandeep Mittal."
End excerpt.
This is vintage virtue signaling on the part of Dorsey, who wants to show his Silicon Valley transplants how wonderfully enlightened and Progressive he really is. Like all modern Progressives, he doesn't understand the issues he pontificates about and is not at all concerned with the consequences of his actions. He only cares about proving his bonafides as a member of the Ruling Class.
This shows how leftist ideology is truly a plug-in-the-name type of thing. Be it Brahmans, Christians, White Men, "Cisgender", what have you. It doesn't really matter who is guilty of privilege, or what the circumstances are, but rather that the "oppressed" or "downtrodden" are virtuous and aggrieved whether there is any factual evidence to support such a claim or not.
This sort of easy moralizing is horribly destructive. But it makes little rich boys feel important.
I am mindful of Viktor Komarovski in Dr. Zhivago:
"There are two kinds of men, and only two, and that young man is one kind. He is high-minded. He is pure. He is the kind of man that the world pretends to look up to and in fact despises. He is the kind of man who breeds unhappiness; particularly in women."
End quote.
And indeed that is exactly the kind of men (and women) we are breeding today; high minded, pure of heat, who, through their unyielding natures breeds unhappiness and destruction. In Dr. Zhivago that man was the husband of Lara, Pasha Antipov/Strelnikov, a man who believed he could grab hold of history and bend it to his will, make the world something it is not. He was an idealist, a dreamer, and his dreams were not tempered by maturity, wisdom, or realism. In the end such men have always bred destruction; they know how to wreck stuff but then find building a far greater challenge.
Being a Dorsey is easy, and the Chief Twit thinks that because he was able to create a computer program and a successful company that qualifies him to become Master of the Universe. In his rush for moral purity he will butt his way forward, and collateral damage be damned.
That is the modern Man, never coming to the knowledge of the Truth.

And the Left is overwhelmingly populated by NPC like "idiots" who only have very simple scripts they can use in "debate" with those on the Right, who have our fair share, but we're as a rule held to higher standards. It really stung a bunch of them because its so true.
