Hillary in the Tall Grass

This from Judson Phillips:

A number of my friends are predicting Hillary Clinton will get in the race now that Kamela Harris is out. I don't think so. First, I don't think her health will allow it. Second, she has already missed important deadlines for early states.

But most importantly, if she got in and won, the Bolshevik Bernie wing of the party would freak out and probably split away completely from the Democrat Party.

Hmm... maybe Clinton 2020 isn't such a bad idea.

Besides, watching Donald Trump tear her up again would be worth the price of admission.

1 Hillary's white, she won't do. Gotta be somebody black, and if she's unattractive, so much the better. Kammie was too good-looking, except when she screwed her face up to look angry, which I grant you was most of the time.

So: Stacey Abrams. Or The Big M. An article I read mentioned Abrams but said her tenuous grasp on reality makes her unsuitable. I agree. Could the same be said for The Big M?

2 Moochie is the logical choice here. No doubt about that. Stacey Abrams looks like a stereotype, and she's dumb as dirt (adding to the stereotype.)  I just don't see her as a viable option.

If Oprah doesn't run it'll have to be Bigfoot.

3 Oprah won't run. She damaged her brand too much by endorsing Zippy back in '08. Won't want to take a pay cut now, and she's smart enough to stay out of things she doesn't know how to do. Let's hope the same is true for Sasquatch.

4 I tend to agree. Oprah knows now her brand is based on a broad appeal, and it will be permanently damaged if she were to run. She'd lose half her fan base.

Minnie the Moocher has nothing to lose, though. On the other hand, she doesn't really have that much to gain, and in the end she'll lose some of her admiration.

It'll be interesting to see what the Donkeys wind up doing. I doubt they even have an idea at this point.

5 It is confusing. They know they aren't going to win on impeachment. The longer it drags out, the more they lose support in the country as a whole. And if it goes to the Senate for a trial, Mitch has 'em by the short hairs. You don't seriously think he's going to make it short and sweet, when he can chain 'em to their chairs and keep 'em off the campaign trail?

OTOH, there is always the idea that the more the voters see of Fauxcahontas and Karl Marx in person, the less they'll want them. I just don't want to see Buttgig as the candidate -- he looks too harmless. Of course, Hairy Legs can campaign, and I think Castro can too.

6 I just read this again and got an idea. If Hillary were to jump -- well, totter -- into the ring again, I'd just love to see some gutsy journalist -- preferably a woman -- ask her "Now, Ms. Clinton, considering that, as we all know, you really won the election in 2016, if you win this time you'll only be able to serve one term. What do you have to say about that?"

7 Nice idea there! What will sourpuss have to say to THAT?
