The US ranks 38th in math and 24th in science compared to 71 other countries. At the time Jimmy Carter created the Federal Dept. of Education, the U.S. ranked 6th in the world and spent HALF AS MUCH per student.
Minneapolis spends $27,000 per public school student. MOST countries on Earth spend under $10,000, with the vast majority at around $6,000 per student.

I have no sources at my fingertips to cite, but Twin Cities schools are pretty disgraceful. Frankly, the Twin Cities are pretty disgraceful all around, these days. But you knew that already.

Well Dana they are run by Democrats. Same is true of St. Louis.
I own two houses and at one point BOTH were in districts that lost accreditation. I was paying taxes for two failed school districts! Both run by Democrats, of course.
