Dr. Deborah Birx: Eye Shields Can Prevent People from Spreading Coronavirus
No, it won't stop people from SPREADING it. It might keep people from CATCHING it.
At any rate, Fauci was telling people to use swim goggles and full face masks. Eventually we'll be wearing gas masks or even space suits.
From the Washington Times article:
"Here’s the thing about the face shield in addition to the mask: the mask is to protect others,†Dr. Birx said on "Fox & Friends.†"The thing about the face shields - we think that that could protect the individuals and that it would decrease the ability for them to touch their eyes and spread [the] virus as well as those droplets coming towards them.â€
Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health said this week that if people have goggles or eye shields, they should use them.
The more Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee speak the more ridiculous they appear. We shut the economy down and locked everyone up based on the recommendations of these two upper class twits?

Face shields will keep you from touching your face? Hey, if you get an itch, you'll raise the shield and scratch it -- or at least I would. If I'm in the supermarket with a mask on, and my nose starts to run (and trust me, it runs in a supermarket, don't know why), I pull out my handkerchief, raise the mask, wipe my nose, pull the mask back down, put the hanky away and carry on. Bad enough that the mask tends to make my glasses fog over.
