China already produces 10 times as many scientists as the United States does despite having just about four times our population. Of course, quantity doesnâ€™t speak to quality. But our woke federal overlords want to degrade the latter, too, as the White House is now waging a war on merit in the physical sciences.

At any rate, he wants to dumb down the country all the while claiming we need to up our game. What will free community college achieve toward competing intellectually with China? It will just make it easier to slough off high school, and is nothing but a sop to Academia. We need MORE rigorous standards, not less. Biden offers no reforms at the primary and secondary levels - where they are most needed. The NEA will continue to strangle America's kids with their control of education.
