Biden refuses to release Ukraine transcripts

Timothy Birdnow

"Commander Peachfuzz" Biden is refusing to release transcripts of his dealings with Ukraine.

But it's Donald Trump who is the bad guy here!

Biden says it would be illegal for him to do so. If true, why did the Democrats insist Trump do the same thing?

1 So it's illegal for Biden to release the transcripts of his calls with Ukrainian leaders when he was VP? Sorry, that train left the station when President Trump released the transcript of his call with the new Ukrainian President. Calls for Trump's tax returns fall into a totally different category, and should be identified as "squirrel politics." If Biden continues to stall, as he's sure to do, Republicans should be relentless in saying "So what are you hiding? Why aren't you being transparent like Trump was?"

2 Agreed Dana!  Sauce for the Goose and all that.

3 When we roast goose (actually, could be gander, the store never tells you) we brush on an orange glaze similar to what you'd use on duck. Delicious. But you have to keep pulling the goose out of the oven to brush it on. Well, whoever said gourmet cooking was easy?

4 You eat goose, Dana?  Last time I priced it it cost about as much as one of my doctor's visits.

Love the stuff but can't afford it. Or has the price come down?

5 No, sadly, the price has not come down. We try to plan ahead around Christmastime and have some extra shekels available to buy one. Our local "popular price" supermarket actually will have a couple of them available, along with a few ducks and a gazillion turkeys.
If we can afford one, obviously we don't stuff it with caviar!
This reminds me, I'm way behind on contributions to the Provender and Potables section. . .

6 Cathy often buys duck and we have a fine feast of it!  I prefer goose, but duck will do. I would like to try capon some time, too.

Yeah; nothing on good eats of late!

7 Duck's wonderful. You just have to know how to eliminate most of the fat -- and save (and freeze) it for later use, such as oven-roasting potatoes. We do the same with goose fat. Freeze it in ice-cube trays, which make the right sized portions. If I'm not mistaken, there's some of it in one of our freezers right now.
I probably haven't had a capon since I left home. They aren't as popular as they used to be, not sure why. Not politically correct, maybe?

8 Freeze the fat in ice cube trays?  That's a brilliant idea!  I had never even considered that.

Potatoes oven roasted in that? Yum!
