Notwithstanding the fact that I am a Republican, how much of that spending is simply an increase of debt? "Eat drink and be merry, for tomorrow we all die."

Shopping's been that way for years. Ever since credit cards were invented, as long as people believed it would be easy to pay that debt off, they've shopped this way.
The heck of it is, I'll bet you that Moochie is going around telling everyone who'll listen that this boom is all due to her hubby's policies.
