Barack Obama; the High Priest of the Cult of Death

Timothy Birdnow

Barack Obama wants to restore funding to UNFPA; the organization that has assisted China in her program of forced abortions.

According to this report from Lifenews.com:

``PRI's initial report, entitled "UNFPA, China, and Coercive Family Planning," is based on an investigation conducted by PRI researchers in China's Sihui County.

Relying on interviews with over two dozen victims and witnesses, the 2001 investigation found that coercive abortion and sterilization practices were taking place where the UNFPA had supposedly instituted a "client-centered and voluntary family planning program."

In fact, PRI's investigation discovered that the UNFPA shared an office with the very Chinese family planning officials who were carrying out forced abortions.

Prompted by this investigation, then-Secretary of State Colin Powell sent his own research team to China, which independently verified the facts that PRI had gathered.

Afterwards, Powell wrote, "I determined that UNFPA's support of, and involvement in, China's population-planning activities allowed the Chinese government to implement more effectively its program of coercive abortion."

Powell himself urged that the U.S. government stop funding the UNFPA.

"President-elect Obama and his supporters blame the Bush administration for this decision," says Steven Mosher, the president of the Population Research Institute. "But in fact it was Colin Powell, who is no friend of social conservatives and who recently endorsed Obama for President, who made this call."`

So, Barack wants to reinstate this program, and kill more babies.

Barack Hussein Obama never met a culture of death program he didn`t like; he supports abortion, partial birth abortion, allowing babies born as a result of a botched abortion to die in the trash, he wants embryonic stem-cell research (in which embryos-nascent human beings-are carved up like cattle at a butcher`s shop for their stem-cells) despite the fact that adult stem-cells have proven more effective for treatments and that we can now turn adult cells into embryonic stem cells, thus eliminating the need to clone and butcher children.

He had this to say about attempts to legalize physician-assisted suicidephysician-assisted suicide (in his usual cold technical fashion):

``Obama A: I am in favor of palliative medicine in circumstances where someone is terminally ill. ... I'm mindful of the legitimate interests of states to prevent a slide from palliative treatments into euthanasia. On the other hand, I think that the people of Oregon did a service for the country in recognizing that as the population gets older we've got to think about issues of end-of-life care. ...``

While Obama plays it close to the vest here, he does not condemn the concept of euthenasia per se. His answer suggests that he would accept a middle ground. How do you accept a middle ground, where life is concerned?

He had this to say on the Teri Schiavo case:

``Q What is the most significant professional mistake you have made in the past four years?

A: Well, my wife may have a longer list. But professionally the biggest mistake that I made was when I first arrived in the Senate. There was a debate about Terri Schiavo, and a lot of us, including me, allowed Congress to intrude where it shouldn't have. I should have fought more for making sure that families make those decisions and not bureaucrats and politicians.``

In short, Barack Obama sees human life as utilitarian, something which is intended to serve the interests of Man-especially healthy Man. If it is inconvenient or burdensome then we have a right, nay, a duty to dispose of it. His is the culture of death.

I stated in a post immediately after the elections that Obama is a type of antichrist, and I stick by that; Jesus is described as ``the bread of life`` and he said he came ``to give life-and give it more abundantly``. Obama is in direct opposition to that, being the bringer of death and more abundantly. Certainly more people will die under his coldly clinical vision than have died under some of the worst tyrants. Obama may mean well, but we are fully aware of what road is paved with those good intentions, and backed by modern technology and a materialistic philosophy that sees no difference between human and animal life (indeed, does not see much difference between human and plant, or even human and the non-living parts of the planet) he will sincerely seek to promote this culture of death, this desire to ascend the human species to the godhead in which Man is the arbiter of life and death. There is no room for the Will of God here; life is ours to decide; Obama Giveth, and Obama taketh away.

And Obama is a New Man, a citizen of the World; he seeks a larger impact than just a slice of North America. His Global Poverty Initiative is just one example of Obama`s plan to entangle America in an increasingly ensnaring international order, and it should come as no surprise he will support institutions that advocate for abortion.  Abortion is, after all, the high holy sacrament of the New Man; life is the province of the Divine, and the power to decide when it ends gives Man the mirage of equality with the Creator.

Darkness has fallen on America-and the World.
